Chapter 87: You Are A Meanie

Damien softly chuckled hearing her anxious tone, "Relax. I simply wanted to tell you that I wouldn't be able to train you for the next three days since I have to prepare myself for an entrance exam at the Alchemist Society. I hope you don't mind and I will compensate for these three days later." He said, feeling bad.

Lily let out a sigh of relief as she said, "Is that all? I thought it was something else. Of course, you should focus on your studies. It's more important than teaching me." Lily said earnestly.

Her face got a bit rigid as she continued, "But you are going to leave after teaching me, probably within two weeks right?"

Damien sighed and said, "Lily I—"

Lily smiled as she interjected, "No, I don't mean to hold you back...and I know you don't like to stay in the palace for too long. I am worried whether you will be okay all alone outside? I can help you if you need anything."

Thinking how her crippled friend was going to survive in the cruel world all alone, she felt uneasy.

Damien shook his head and smiled, "I will be fine, trust me. But If you keep treating me this nice, I might take you away with me."

'Oops...why did I blurt out those words from my damn mouth.'

A faint reddish hue spread over her cheeks hearing Damien's words as she didn't expect him to say something like that out of nowhere, "Wh-What are you saying?"

'She gets shy too easily.' Damien felt amused by seeing her reaction.

Of course, how can a young maiden like her stand a chance with a veteran like Damien.

Damien got closer to her slowly as he said, "Why...did I say something bad? Or do you not like coming with me?" He asked with an innocent expression; however, his eyes had a roguish gleam.

Lily didn't understand in what sense Damien meant by taking her away. But in her mind, certain thoughts did pop out.

'Did he mean that he wanted...no, no what in the world am I thinking…'

Lily felt that Damien was simply teasing her but seeing his innocent expression her heart melted for some reason, "I-I never said that I don't like going with you—no, I mean—"

Damien laughed, "Hahaha...why are you getting so nervous? I was simply playing with you."

Lily winced with embarrassment, "Y-You are really a bully for teasing me like this." She turned her head away with a pout, too embarrassed to see Damien's face.

Damien chuckled and got closer as he turned her chin towards him, "Now, don't get angry with me. I—" Damien paused when he saw her abashed face which made her cherry red lips look more alluring.

As his gaze locked with hers, he involuntarily moved his face closer to hers as if reaching for her enticing lips.

Lily froze as her eyes met his gaze while her chin was trapped in between his fingers.

Her breath quivered seeing Damien's devilishly charming face coming closer, reaching for her lips with his. She gulped as a feeling of anticipation took birth in her heart.

Within a moment, Damien locked his lips with hers.

Lily's eyes widened and closed her eyes in panic.

She stopped breathing and didn't push him away as somehow she couldn't muster any strength nor did she feel like doing so. Her hands already involuntarily moved towards his toned chest but didn't make a slight movement of pushing him away.

As he ravished her lips as soft and moist as rosebud petals, he felt it intoxicating as the addictive feeling invaded all his senses.

It was as if time stopped for both of them, and only the flutters in their hearts intensified.

Lily's heart skipped a beat; her knees got weaker as Damien's manly smell overwhelmed all sorts of rational thoughts.

"Mmmm…"

She could hear a half growl, half moan sounding from the back of Damien's throat. Little shivers of pleasure and panic shot through her as he deepened the kiss, parting her lips. Her mind went completely blank, unable to let any thoughts pass.

Damien's right hand cupped her cheek while his left hand slipped onto her slender hips pulling her closer. Her lips were involuntarily moving on their own and making sloppy moments but Damien skillfully guided her lips with his.

His hand slowly moved down from her hips towards her pert buttocks and squeezed them. However, he felt Lily's body shuddering and quickly parted his lips from hers.

He gave a look of guilt as he said, "Lily, I am sorry...I didn't m—"

Damien realized that he forced a kiss on her and was not sure if she didn't push him away because of their friendship or because she liked it. However he knew it was probably the latter since she did try to kiss him back.

Still, he wondered if he went too overboard with her who basically had zero experience in these kinds of things. Most of all, he wasn't really sure of her feelings despite feeling that she had a liking towards him.

The last thing he wanted was for her to get angry at him or loathe him.

Lily quickly stepped backward escaping from his embrace, her face completely red, as she cutely covered her face with her hands not knowing how to react.

"Y-You…you are a meanie..." A low mosquito voice escaped from her quivering mouth.

She wanted to rebuke him for what he did, but for some reason felt that it was not fair as she enjoyed it too. In fact, she couldn't believe she liked and tried to reciprocate his kiss. She felt like wanting to explore the unknown and exotic feeling she never experienced before with Damien.

Her heart was still pounding, thinking about her first kiss and how her butt was took advantage of. She quickly ran out of the courtyard without saying anything else; feeling that she would lose the only face she had left if she stayed any longer.

The last thing she expected today to happen was to suddenly be kissed by Damien who stole away her first kiss.

Damien didn't stop her as he was standing frozen on the spot not sure of what to do.

He wasn't sure if fate rooted for him to go for that kiss or if his mind tricked him into it. He didn't even know why he went for the kiss as he himself wasn't completely sure of his feelings.

But he realized that he didn't regret what he did making him question himself, 'Have I already fallen for her?'

He knew he already had Sofie in his heart and was confused about how he could have feelings for another girl.

In his previous life, there was only monogamy and even having an affair with another girl was considered a no-no. But he knew that in this world polygamy was allowed but still that doesn't mean women would like their partners to have someone else other than them.

He didn't know what to do and when he thought about how Lily didn't even know about him having Sofie in his heart, he couldn't imagine how she would react. Would she look down on him as a degenerate for seducing another girl when he already loved one?

"Why are you being a wuss by thinking too much about unnecessary things? Took you long enough though. Now that she's in the bag, things will be just fine." Luna's ridiculing tone broke away Damien from his thoughts.
