Summary

Three years ago Conquest was released, redefining virtual reality and gaming. ‘An entire world on a server. Dive in and play the RPG to end all others; explore, create, conquer. LIVE!’ It became an overnight phenomena worldwide. Dave Ruster grew up without a family to speak of, he had few friends and fewer prospects. He lives in the same small town where he graduated from high school, and works long hours at a low-paying job that barely pays for rent and the food on his table. He can’t afford college, but at least he is not out on the streets. His life is going nowhere, stuck on a treadmill. Until chance, karma, or providence, call it whatever you believe in, intervenes. Suddenly, David’s circumstances change. Injured and unable to work, he’s about to lose what little he has. His fate balances where crisis and opportunity go hand in hand. He can risk it all, seizing the opportunity to make circumstances work for him, potentially going further and higher than he ever dreamed. Or he can accept his fate and watch life from the sidelines Join Dave as he puts all his aspirations and hopes, all that he is, into the game he always wanted to play, Conquest! It will be a journey of adventure and discovery, victory and loss, as he strives to create a new future for himself, in-the-game and In Real Life. **** Story is currently being proofed by our Lord Sambraga! (chapters 54+) so please bear with the mediocre quality of writing in the first chaps, it gets much better later on!****

Betting all your life and assets on a video game. Surely will go great kekw. Luckily this is a fantasy novel. Meant to explore the impossible, dumb, smart, or otherwise

stopped at chaps 104, overall it's pretty good for now. will talk more it in detail. romance : right now i don't see much except lone arrow, who anyone in their right mind can think that she's only there for fun so there's probbly won't be anytime soon. action/fights : it's a face paced for the fights so you can see that it dont extend to over 5+ chaps worldbuilding : well uh so-so not good but not bad enough to start creating plot holes the mc imo : compared to the tops, he's pretty alright, not that scheming or rash. all i can say while his iq looks like 5+ points higher than the average, he is actually have 6+ so thats cool 6.4/10 : a good read to past time but there's nothing spectacular about this novel, and there's nothing really engaging. Peace, i aint continuing ✌🏼

The story has a few major problems. A lot of name swapping where another name was used that didn't make any sense instead of the actual one. A lot of plotlines were incredibly warped, like he especially takes care that Lone never knows his name his Dave or anything. Give it a few chapters and suddenly she calls him Davey? The grammar was occasionally horrible too. The author needed 400 chapters to realize the infinitive of tired is tire and always wrote tier. So all in all uncomfortable to read but I liked the idea so I kinda read on. I'm done now. The end was unsatisfying in my opinion but what can you do. I don't really recommend it.

MC really forgave the people who f*ck*d his life up that easily. Hella cringe.

ive seen a comment that the mc got beaten up again by the witch's guard that he saved in chapter 1? and bullied again and just forgive her in the end? Is it for real? I think its a worst story if that is the case.

I got to chapter 60, I can't take it anymore. Letting you film while you're chased around the world? Give your items away? Share personal skills and information? Yes, you can do all this for a "cute" girl, f*ck. fluffy is my egg

I do believe and try to uphold that sentence, of course while upholding the laws of justice and what's fair (punishment and reward) But guess what? We play video games like GTA or read novels like these to see Mc b1tch slapping people who merely cursed him once to death, not to read about a saint. A saint is, imho, objectively bad for fantasy novels because they are too passive. And a protagonist who is merely passive and reactive instead of active is just a straight recipe to losing reader attention.
