The main character is quite captivating, along with the cat (who I forgot the name) and no one else. . . but as captivating as it is, it's also frustrating. It has no progression outside of the boring little school world (like a world and plot over mana, well constructed but minimal development on that), it evolves very little, and the characters form unreal relationships, like the author's puppets with no good reason behind. The plot does NOT advance, not even a little. And I just want to see if she will reveal herself as a [silence witch] so she doesn't stop reading. . . That's all.

Silent witch is a refreshing and interesting take on slice of life and drama while there are a lot of things that can get old really quick like the Mc being a wuss. It provides a lot of character progression at first we see Monica in a neet like state but as the story progresses out Mc grows more out of her shell along with the supporting characters each character having a roll they play perfect.

So far its going great! The heartfelt interactions between the characters for sure got some tears out of me but I am excited to see how this story is going to end.

I've had a great time reading this novel so far, it is fun, with specks of dark topics and full of many intresting characters. Although some may think the context of 'shy' does not suit our protagonist, i think it is perfectly acceptable if you were to look at the shyness as a mentality instead of a personality trait.
