Chapter 78: Hospital

Haru opened his eyes and looked around, "Where is this?"

"This is the hospital."

Haru turned his head and was surprised to see her, "Kato, why are you here?"

"Sora is calling me, she is worried about you," Kato answered him calmly.

"Thank you," Haru said to her, "How long have I been sleeping?"

"It took around 6 hours," Kato said.

Haru nodded at the same time he felt weird. He thought it would be worse and slept for quite a long time.

"Are you okay?" Kato asked.

Haru nodded, "I'm fine, thank you for waiting for me."

"It's okay, I don't have anything to do," Kato said.

Haru smiled, "You should search to do something thought to increase your lack of presence." He teased her.

"I think you're fine when you can make fun of me," Kato said with a slight smile.

Haru looked at her and said, "You're cute, Kato."

Kato raised her eyebrow, "But you always make fun of me though."

"I'm just joking," Haru sighed and asked, "Where is Sora?"

"She's in the toilet right now, maybe she'll be back soon," Kato said.

The door was opened and both of them saw her.

"HARU!!!!"

Sora ran toward him and hugged him tightly while crying, "Haru..."

Haru wasn't sure but he felt very healthy right now. He felt like he was brimming with energy: "I'm fine, I'm very healthy right now."

"Yes, he is only tired, you don't need to worry that much, his body is very healthy."

Haru looked at the door and saw a woman in doctor lab with short red hair. He knew who this person was since she was a friend and co-worker of his father before, "Thank you, aunt." His father was a doctor and he was also working in this hospital.

"I know that you've become quite a popular novelist but you need to take care of your body," Nishikino said, adding while looking quite annoyed, "Also, you need to call me a sister, alright?"

Haru twitched his lips when he heard it. He saw this woman who had taken care of him when he was a child and she also had one daughter, "Well, sister."

"Good," Nishikino nodded with a smile.

"His body is healthy right? Can he go home right now?" Sora asked. She didn't want to stay with her most of the time.

"I need to give him a check up again, at least let him stay until tomorrow," Nishikino said. She walked toward him and asked, "How is your body?"

Haru had never felt this healthy before, "I'm fine." He said while showing off his biceps.

Nishikino raised her eyebrow, "Let's see whether that is true or not."

"Sure, you can check it," Haru didn't know what kind of reward that he had gotten from the group chat but he thought it must be connected to the condition of his body. He wasn't sure yet but he felt that he was full of stamina right now.

"Are you really a novelist and not an athlete?" Nishikino asked while looking at his body.

"Why?" Haru looked at her with a confused expression.

Nishikino tried to touch his muscle, "Hmm, you're fine, but you need to stay for today, alright."

Haru nodded, "Thank you, sister."

Nishikino nodded, "That's right, Maki is looking for both of you."

"Really?" Haru started to remember the little girl that had played with him in the past.

"I'll tell her to visit you later," Nishikino said.

"No, don't tell her, we'll only stay for a night, there is no need to create such a huge ruckus," Sora said.

Nishikino looked at her and nodded, "Alright, I'll go back now, I'll tell the nurse to bring your food."

"Thank you very much," Haru said.

"You don't need to worry that much, your parents are very close to our family, I've regarded both of you as similar to my children," Nishikino said with a smile.

They talked to each other for a while and Nishikino decided to leave since she still had a job.

"Is it only me, or she didn't see you, Kato?" Haru suddenly said,

Kato, who was sitting by their sides, sighed.

"Don't tease her, Haru," Sora knew that her friend had very little presence but she was also helpless at the same time.

"It's okay, I don't mind, but," Kato looked at them, "You're quite close to that doctor."

Sora nodded, "Our parents were doctors in this hospital before, they are quite close to the owner of this hospital."

Kato nodded, "How about this Maki?"

"She was her only daughter and you didn't need to think much about her," Sora said.

Kato nodded and didn't say anything again.

Haru shook his head and asked, "Where is my phone?"

"It's in our apartment, do you want me to take it for you?" Sora asked.

"Is that okay?" Haru asked.

Sora nodded, "It's okay, you're still weak, let me take care of you."

Haru felt weird when he saw his sister suddenly trying to spoil him. He could only nod and agreed, "Thank you."

"Don't worry," Sora said and looked at Kato, "Megumi, can you look after him for a while?"

Kato nodded, "Sure, I don't mind."

"I'll go back now," Sora said and went back to the apartment. Her apartment wasn't that far since her parents were working in this hospital they had decided to buy an apartment that was close to this hospital.

Haru was curious with what kind of reward he had gotten but he needed to get his phone first. He looked at Kato and decided to talk with her for a while.
