Lightning King stopped writing after a hundred words or so. He sealed the document and put a photo printed from his mobile phone into a file bag, along with the document. Then, he picked up a USB disk on his desk, inserted it into his computer and watched the video.

The video showed a scene that happened behind the residential building last night. In the quiet night, there was no one on the road behind the apartment. Suddenly, a figure fell from high up in the sky. At the same time, War Spirit Wushuang landed on the ground, leaving behind two craters in the ground and causing the rubble to shoot everywhere.

A few seconds later, Li Xianyu rose up and reached out to hold the black pearl, as his eyes shot scarlet blood.

He looked at the computer screen in a daze, unable to understand anything.

What kind of powers enabled one to come back from the dead? What kind of powers had such self-healing effects?

The archives were sealed. The Lightning King locked the bag in the safe and left the office. Instead of going downstairs to the medical department, he walked towards the office next door, where he heard a crisp keystroke in the spacious office.

War Spirit Wushuang was lying on the office chair as she put her legs on the computer desk. There was a keyboard on her lower abdomen, as she used her fingers to tap on the keyboard rapidly.

She was playing a game known as Audition.

There was a big bag of snacks, a box of pizza, a bucket of fried chicken and a large Coke on the computer table.

The Lightning King restrained his solemn expression, replacing it with a humble look. “Elder, your precious grandson is awake.”

“Okay.”

“Okay… What does that mean?”

“Wait until I finish playing the game. Don’t bother me now. Get out of here.”

“Yes.”
