Peak novel ✓. It really is a hidden gem. The only regret I have is wish there could be more side stories 😔. This novel is really good same as the author's other novel.

I've enjoyed the whole story so far, found out about the novel from the donghua, which I also enjoyed alot, and after I started reading I've had a lot of fun, really like the MC, hes fun but also serious when needed and ruthless at times, he learns things as the story progresses and I find his relationship with his sister endearing (sister is also really fun). The world setting is interesting and quite new to me, same with the way the MC's powers work, it's quite fun and interesting aswell, and in general the whole story is very fun, with some moments being especially hilarious. Be it the characters, their interactions and/or the situations they en up in, this novel hasn't failed in making me laugh and enjoy myself. All in all I'd definetely recomend this novel. d( ^ω^)b

The story is nice with good main characters. The MC would always make me laugh and the melancholic aspect of some of the story adds contrast to the normally the funny nature of the story. Only took off a star because of abrupt ending

Honestly speaking, this novel is fun, sometimes it gets better sometimes is a pain, sometimes i think why the author might spend 2-3 chapters describing unnecessary details that will not be useful at all and not focus on the storyline, sometimes i think why he killed the novel in the end so fast at the best part of it. In overall it deserves 2-3 star, but as i said sometimes might be good sometimes may be sh*t… and its hard to tell how things end…

Since I have given this novel 5 stars, I would have to support this argument as other reviews give different opinions about rating. First section is going to be context and non-spoiler. Any author in China has extremely strong feelings about other countries. Typically authors are well read on history and literatures. This is because China was basically beat up by the rest of Europe, major cities taken and one major offender and causer of war crimes was Japan. In WWII, Japan invaded China and ran over Nanjing (Nanking) quickly. The actions were merciless as horrible atrocities such as using infant babies as toys to throw into the air and stab with bayonets occurred. This along with no survivors policy and a lot of raping. This lead to obvious dissent as this novel, like any other, doesn’t like the countries that did multiple war crimes. Europe isn’t off the table either as Britain basically forced drugs into China and all of Europe showed up and did the same thing. This is to explain the slight dislike to the other counties. Now we can actually move on to the book. It is mainly a comedy, as our main character, Lu Shu is an man that gets stronger with annoyance from others. This creates some pretty silly moments as some people absolutely get trolled and bullied. The comedy alone supplies the plot that is basically the average war plot. The plot might not be as interesting as some other great novels like Shadow Slave, but the comedy is on point, and an argument could be made that it is funnier and most books on this site including Shadow Slave. But enough comparing to other books, time for the spoiler section. I’d recommend to read at least to chapter 1000, but you have been warned. Lu Shu is very lonely, the constant need to make others suffer causes him to have almost no real friends, if he did have any, he would drive them away. This is an issue as he constantly has to be around familiar people, including a small child that is always around. The issue with the constant bully and fun poking he causes, comes to a head as he makes questionable moves. He realizes that the fastest way to get annoyance points is to murder others, because there would always be more people. He himself is the true enemy and the question is will he actually cause war crimes. Again, he could has stupid amounts of destruction for his own benefit, but he chooses less, as he is compassionate enough to spare the people. This goes back to the historical context, as the author makes him into an ideal soldier that doesn’t commit war crimes just because he is stronger. There are shocking reveals and heartbreaking scenes as h fails, or succeeds. His relationships with others is like a narrow bridge, it could be destroyed at any moment. This novel has fantastic fights, but more importantly is how he profits the most from the fights. Fighting is not the true point of this novel, it is to balance relationship with others. Some of his antics are obscure and strange, the power system he has also gives identities of people he annoys, making him an ideal spy for many missions. Some traditional meanings are misused by him to cause more people to get annoyed, and the way he speaks flows into real life. After reading this book some time ago, I would almost act like him, kinda mean but the important part, was that it made me think. This book makes people think of the reason why people get mad, why people get annoyed and why people say the things they say. Most on the time, the best books are on the edge of being banned, or shed mirrors and windows into our lives. The ability to question things is an essential skill, and it is shown by our annoying protagonist. That is one of the reasons I give this 5 stars. Another reason is because the plot isn’t that bad compared to other stories. It isn’t the best in the world, but it is still quite good. The main feature is that Lu Shu is typically along, and when he is with people, he leaves because he simply can’t make friends that easily. This is a fresh new idea that lots of people think of as a flaw of a book, but in fact, it is a strength because it is a character flaw. Being alone distances him from others, he is able to fend for himself, and himself only. It continues like this, until he leads an army. The army is more like bandits that sell soap though. Heh I really liked the part of which he hands homework to make people suffer. It is always good to see character growth, as when he is confronted by himself, he chooses the path that doesn’t benefit him, but for the others. The idea of maybe this is too far is a central theme of balancing what he does, and it makes the book special in this way. There are some points of the book that I don’t particularly like, mostly because they take long and I am addicted to The antics, but they aren’t that bad anyways, as any competent reader and just read through. This book isn’t for anyone below the age of 13, as some stuff in here is pretty dark, but at least there isn’t any s*x scenes. Anyone above 13 can think of the main arguments and drive this book has, of which has been argued by this book, the themes are for the reader to discover, and the ideas for the reader to think of. Do not simply pass this book down as a fantastic comedy novel, think of it also as an argument, even a way of living properly. This concludes this short review, the best way to really know the book is to actually read the book, and I wish you good luck.

Pretty good story. Nice storyline, good backstory. Having superpowers by annoying others such a good imagination(ahahaha). It's a fun to read and sides characters are good too. I love the ending 😊

this story is extremely good, the mc is really different(in a good way) and the character building in the story is great as well, the only down side to the story is that the ending is a bit strange and definitely could have been better since the author have wrote over a thousand chapters of the good stuff

It is a pretty good novel. The ending feels like a fever dream though and the only reason I took off a star. The MC is quite hilarious at times and can be ruthless when he needs to. It has a bit of a different vibe than the manhua as it is a bit less humorous compared to the manhua but is still funny.

Pretty good novel I highly recommend although it’s not no masterpiece it’s very funny and the fight scenes are pretty good and the mcs system is very well made and honestly I just love the vibe of the story in general

This must be an A tier novel, thanks for YT recommendation I was able to read this. very interesting novel, I like the comedy in this novel because it is always unexpected, in this chapter you will be sad but in the next chapter you will laugh so hard, the first 100chp is a rollercoaster of emotions, I have no problem for the ending, I think it is too rushed but it's okay, I have no high expectation.
this guy is a legend, though I love this novel and would say the same thing this guy wrote a thousand words essay to prove that this novel is one of the best out there and the proves the bias as being normal. yo man, you wanna have a chat here is my discord user Stormdragonj
