Tbh initially I was very invested in this novel but after that ntr( karlia-succubus) incident it just turn down me. The bro is f*k*g p*r*t he never behave like grand sage and there are so many unnecessary loose ends and suspense created by author🤦‍♂️

Personally i enjoyed the premise of the story and was looking forward to it, while it felt odd that the MC who was a magic sage had to learn magic from school, it made sense considering he didn't have a drop of magic in his past life and so he totally lacks real life experience when it comes to handling mana, after all theories could only get him so far, he can't just go into battle for example armed with only theoretical ways of using mana hence it was a wise decision to learn under the protection and guidance of great mages, although this was soon cut short with a massive time skip. I also thought his ingenuity with his multiple cores was a great addition to the story as well as the existence of the guy who had multiple cores within a core, i also liked how better the side characters were personality wise, they had their own interests, lives, and loves separate from the MC, my favorites were multiple cores in one guy, and crazy obsessed girl, i did find some of them weird and out of the blue but i never cared about those characters either way so it was all good. The MC's intelligence is as inconsistent as a flickering light bulb, he rarely acts his age and while the revelation of his past life explains his behaviour, it fails to do anything meaningful. From his past life, we gather how difficult his life was as a non-magic user, and the difficulty he had in getting his voice heard or his achievements acknowledged which caused him to develop low self-confidence and worth. He, however, had friends who stayed with him through thick and thin and a loving wife whom he soon meets gives him the self-confidence and courage he needs, then he is kidnapped and r*p*d by a succubus, falls in love with her, and they f*ck*d their brains out while his wife was looking for him, even before meeting his wife he was pathetic but he had his strong points, particularly his will and determination, but immediately, this is overwritten by his quick descent into carnal pleasure due to the NTR and while we understand his guilt, shame, self-loath, and anger, he fails to tell his wife who has seen him at lower points and was always there for him and their relationship slowly drifts off not to mention he left her with a time bomb of a baby and left. This was unnecessary as it broke down the image that was initially being built and left a bad taste especially since he is still pining for her afterwards, and even goes to look for her and wanted to rescue her while he had a loving wife, he proceeded to distance himself from her and ruin their relationship. It show how stupid and spineless he is so it just affirms the readers belief in his severely lacking character instead of providing an explanation and delving into some character growth arc for him, granted it would have been a bit late but it would be better. This revelation is soon followed up by his childish actions, attitudes, and way of thinking when he meets up with his friends after the time skip, he is rude, arrogant, and unlikable, everyone except him has grown and matured not to mention he is over 100 years old and cannot reject the advances of a 17 year old girl and instead blushed and gets all hot and bothered by it not to mention the weird insinuations with his daughter, niece of sorts and sister in-law make me hella confused, too much sexual insinuations with under aged children and then the flimsy excuse of them being elves and older than they look but their actions in no way reflect their age. As many might have stated, some how his r*p*st is still alive and is somehow part of this organisation that wants these cards, is bland, boring, and flat. There is no sense of danger or unease and i don't feel compelled to care about anyone of the characters including the MC. Overall, what started out as promising fell too quick, by chapter 400 i was hoping for a change, by chapter 500 i realized it wouldn't come so i dropped it. I couldn't stand the guy.

i read about 180 chapter, and it's not even feel gud anymore, why whould you write down every single mc thought, like why? also the fight is just BOOM, BOOOOMMM! i try to tone it down if that only magic duel, but the martial art duel also like BOOOM, BOOOOOMMM???? like whattt??? also one turn off moment of all time, why the hell a great sage have a mind like chuunibyou??? like you are an old man, have an adult mind, be more like adult, like duh

The novel is so sh*t I had to open an account to give 1 star. MC is a sage in past life but speak and think like a literal 12 years old and not to mention that he created a new magic system without having magic in past but now he has to go to the academy to study magic

MC is a complete disappointment. Extremely arrogant, looks down on everyone, acted as if everything is naturally his, acted his anger on others for his own incompetency

Really cool world, power system is awesome too, the main character concept is amazing as well. BUUUUTTTT he is so f*ck*ng pathetic. Always overly polite, allows people to step on him. Was in a relationship with a character that constantly NTR him. He is just hard to read. I really really liked how this story could of gone but the main character makes it impossible for me to read.

I was planning to read untill 100 but yeah I can't, i stopped at 94. first of all the mc rarely used the spellcraft and instead trying to learn magic from zero, he who was THE GREAT SAGE learn magic from zero, he should have focus on his spellcraft instead when ke know he got trashy talent. The writing style of present->future->past->present is also kinda weird to me, its like skipping from saturday to monday then proceed to explain what happen on sunday

Power system is sufficiently interesting but it feels like the main character doesn't make any progress and the "SPELLCRAFT" has seemingly no limits. My main gripe with the novel is the main character who speaks and acts like a child despite being an old man reincarnated

Honestly it has too many descriptions and plot holes, most of the powerful enemies weirdly wait for the mc and all his friends to reach their level before fighting. And what is up with all those weird ships? It feels like I'm reading romance novel or something. If possible I would give 0 star but I can't do that
