The word choice and the writing style of the author makes this novel so uniquely captivating. I love how relatively realistic the plot is compared to other novels. I’m so excited to read the following chapters. his story really draws in the reader with its impeccable writing style.

This novel is incredibly good, the setting feels fleshed out, the arcs (mostly) feel full and most of all the characters are amazing. The characters in this novel are supremely 3 dimensional and full of life, any character i remember (all the important ones to the semi important ones) have their own thoughts and personalities that accompany the occasional backstory that we sometimes receive, these characters are the best part of this novel without a doubt. Occasionally arcs drag on, the worst case being a detour of an arc that continued into another detour and is in and of itself nearly a full arc. but when arcs do hit, they hit. The original writing is painstakingly translated and done really really well with the translators clearly spending lots of time into conveying the original authors image.

It gets weirder and weirder the more you read, makes you think a lot about moral and stuff, has a good system, they explain the things that appear, has great plot and protagonist, I recommend it.

This is honestly one of the best novels I have ever read and it gets better with every chapter! Don't let the tittle fool you into thinking that this is one of those low effort novels with no plot, because that couldn't be more wrong. This is one of the few novels that has gotten me so emotionaly invested in its story! I would truly recomend you read it for yourself.

Hands down one of the best books I've ever read. A solid 5 out of 5. The fantasy, action, romance, and unbelievable character growth for MC, everything is just perfect. I read this because I've read the manhwa first, but the novel is tiers above it. If you're a fantasy fan, this book is an absolute masterpiece

One of the best novels I've read so far since I started 5 years ago, I don't think any other novel I've read got me so emotionally invested as this has. Amazing world building as well. 10/10/10

One of the best stories I've had the pleasure of reading, a true breath of fresh air. The comedy, emotions, and character growth are all topnotch and the arcs are beautifully done in my opinion. Having an MC share his emotions and be able to love and empathize so much is genuinely an enjoyable experience, this d*mn zombie really be out here making me tear up like it's a job!

World Building: 9/10 - This novel excels at making a rich and creative world that captivates readers from the beginning. System: 9/10 - While the intricacies of the system might be a bit annoying, its woven into the narrative, avoiding any shortcuts that could undermine the story's integrity. . Cohort of Characters: 8/10 - The supporting cast stands out as a major strength, with each character having a distinct personality that affects the story and development. . Character Growth: 4/10 - Though the protagonist is smart, he finds himself stumbling over familiar hurdles a bit too frequently. There's a modest amount of personal development as the story progresses. . Plot Twists: 7/10 - The plot occasionally circles back on itself, having a bit of repetition, yet it manages to introduce some genuinely unexpected turns that kept me on my toes.

Always happy when a novel author gives the time for characters, depicting their background, their emotions, their character traits, and most importantly, their growth. I really really love the manhwa, you can feel it was made with love and dedication towards this novel. Please give it a go if you're into this type of writing.

This book is seriously good, probably one of the best ones on this site. It's got a great sense of humor, some really touching moments, and the way they handle the romance in it is just amazing. Plus, the character development is worthy of being compared to Shang from 'Sword God in a World of Magic. ' tho like shangs character development was on another level from this "But here's the thing, if it weren't for that Ja Soo-jung arc, I'd easily give this a 5-star rating. That part just didn't do it for me. I mean, I caught on pretty early that she's basically a caricature of biblical God/Jesus. It sort of didn't really do anything for me, and usually when there's no jokes, I'm meant to be feeling sympathy, like the master arc. But, I'm gonna be honest, I felt nothing when she said she was Jesus. It's like, I know I'm meant to be feeling something here, but I really just am not. Like, what am I supposed to feel about it? It didn't leave me excited for the next chapter; it was just kinda there, and it messed with the flow of the book for me. " Still, I'm curious to see how they handle it in the manhwa adaptation. World-building: 7. 3/10. It could have been better. I mean, it's a world with a tower in it, and it describes the origins of the tower pretty well. The only reason I'm giving it such a low mark is because it's nothing revolutionary. I've seen all these concepts before; it's nothing new. Though its well done i can say that. Characters: 9. 5/10. I'm struggling to find characters as well-developed as the ones in this book. It's almost perfect; I could resonate with nearly every single character—I truly understood their motives and such though its not hard to see which character i did not resonate with lmao. "As for the main character, I'd give him a solid 8 out of 10. He's alright, I guess, but he's nowhere near my favorite. Still, he's a top 100 MC in my books. "
