This stone fuses with the young man’s body unnoticed, and he seems to undergo drastic transformations as a result. After that, everything is changed. Eventually his father knows that the son for whom he hasn’t really shown a lot of consideration possesses astonishing abilities. And there’s a lot more to come.

No personally i prefer lone wolf exploration type mc but here he drags his family into everything until the ending, basically too much family drama

After long time rereading this. This was one of my earliest novel in this category and at that time I thought this was best one but now after reading other great works I see why it is ranked low in IETs work

Don't know if a lot of people know this or not, but this novel is one of the OGs that started this English translation craze we have today

they just briefly appear i think, its not so much connected same applies for 'swallowed star' and 'lord xue ying', MC form SS meets the MC from LXY but only few times to help him no major story plot is involved

I read it many years ago... at the time it seemed very good... sometimes it makes me want to read it again but it's so long that they go away... Although I admit that I read Coiling Dragon (let's call it a prequel) for the 2nd time in a couple of weeks lol

Can someone tell me when will the stone merge with the mc? Until now there is nothing about it

A must read if you've read Coiling Dragon. But its terribly long. I remember legit skipping a volume cause i couldn't believe they were giving these side characters any limelight. I feel as if I missed nothing. Vol 1-5 were good, dicy up till 10. Then its dogshit till like 13, then its smooth. The final few volumes were good imo.

Spoiler; final 3 volumes "Linmeng" is a character. Hese a casual swemingly uninvolved in the plot kind of character. You know who he is.

It seems I have to read this then, is it revealed who he truly is(creater of the cosmos)?

Linmeng's cosmos. Its heavily based on Honmemg's original main cosmos. Its just realitively young so godkings and exalted celestials are pretty rare.

What I wanted to know is, is linmeng's story continued like is his family shown again or the other older character(I really miss them)

No - you see Lingmeng amd a new character who he took on as a student after the events of Coiling Dragon. Id love to see a direct CD sequel but we'll never get it.

I felt like stellar transformation has a stupid ignorant mc especially how he readily ignores the girl ( i dont remember her name ) odd points and clues that signifies that she is at least from some super big deal clan that put his to shame and acts like the hero that saves the girl all in all i didnt like her addition to the novel it was fine and dandy when he was alone she is just too much baggage and trouble to push the plot forward

Reading in present tense really threw me off, couldn't read very far because I couldn't get used to it. Its a small detail but made the whole reading experience a lot more challenging, much like how in Coiling Dragon everyone just keeps "laughing calmly." Maybe I'll try again when the mood strikes.
