Schedule: 1 chapter per day
Chapter Lenght: 1700 - 2000 words but usually are even longer
Warning: The MC is not an hero nor an anti-hero. He is a broken, cynic and misanthropic person looking only for his own gain. If you are looking for a forgiving, nice, MC that goes around saving people in distress, this is not your cup of tea.

Spoiler Alertthe human interaction in this novel is the most realist but romance just threw me off. I don't like how the author always try to pair or find every character their romantic partner or even side character bringing up their romantic story, just like Kamila's sister for Vastor for god's sake a 70 or who knew how near he is on death bed pairing with a woman in her mid 30 to be widow at 50 or how author always trying to find Quylla some Romantic partner like Anathor or Morok then forcing Romance between Tista and Regar(Nalrond) dayum I hope author just omit those stuff to not leave a bad taste for the story, most readers always complain about unnecessary romance (or maybe it's just me) but yeah Romance always destroy the good stuff and all. Imagining a 70 years old grandpa having a beautiful girlfriend, meanwhile me despite living for 20 years my life is still stuck being single. 😂
Spoiler AlertI have this doubt after reading 1k chapters that Derek Mkcoy (Lith) despite living in a highly advance civilization Earth (or something similar) being so mediocre with no originality that you might mistake that he's no better or worse than side character without Solus or his unique reincarnation power. Or is it just that the people there are overly intelligent to know kinetic, molecular or atomic knowledge despite living in similar medieval era on earth but beat Einstein, John Dalton and newton in their area
Same old boring story's when the hero is the chosen one and he can do stuff no body can do and like most of the Chinese novels everything is just luck everywhere he go he find useful stuff and problems for stupid reasons pop up and every time he fix it with luck no planning no knowing his enemy weaknesses and the young masters who want to fight because of stupid reasons no real human will fight for it
Why didn't I give this novel a try earlier, this is some good work right here. 1. This novel is Western themed, which means no more "brother, courting death, hidden tiger crouching dragon, jade beauty, rare as phoenix's feather, heaven defying earth shattering, etc". All of that is GONE 2. The characters actually have depth, moral standpoints and personality. They interact with each other like how living, breathing humans would in real life and that's a breath of fresh air to me. 3. Author doesn't over saturate information about anything, he respect his readers and don't see us as someone with a gold-fish brain. Just the right amount of information to build a wonderful magical world and its inhabitants, some much needed reminder here and there . 4. The MC feel alive. You actually can feel him there in the world that the author built, not just act his part like a passive guide into the plots of the novel.
Okay so I’m not a huge fan of the Lith’s romance in this novel but I understand that it plays an important part in Lith’s growth. Don’t get me wrong I don’t dislike romance being a part of the novel but I feel like the focus shifts too much. Anyway I feel like given the nature of this novel everyone’s ship can happen. Like Lith can be with Kamila until she dies and then be with Solus after she’s had more life experiences. I personally think this would be a the best outcome.
Spoiler Alertcan anyone tell me if professor Vastor and kamilla's sister got together? Good gods, this novels romance is nuts
Spoiler AlertI'm soooo mentally exhausted of all the fightings with predictable outcome. Lith is immortal cuz he's the protagonist so he won't die in any fights, then what's the point of those fights arc ... What's I've enjoy the most in this novel was only his stay in his village when he's still a scrawny child, then the academy Arc. The rest ughh a repetitive fighting and everywhere he goes big things always happens that I've lost the count how many times those plot have been use in this novel... It's mentally tiring to read tbh.
ah yes, finally caught up and now i have to play the accursed waiting game, damn it some one please recommend a good fantasy read preferably western themed
Can someone tell me how many chapters is the odi arc?
Does anyone know when will the next chapter be updated?
