    From all the comments I have seen, it seems this novel is a hit or miss. There are 2 options, to be like: "F*ck*ng robot no seggs only training zzz don't like it it bad." or "BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD KEEP COMMITING GENOCIDE AND TORTURING YOURSELF SHANG!!!!!"

    in chap740 earth and shangs initial experience in this world was brought up , idek remember shangs original name anymore and its j come to my attention just how much has passed how many journeys we have gone through along with shang and how many more that is yet to come like idk but i think i started reading this novel when there was only like 100-200 ish chapters and boy i have to say that this is probably one of those novels that alwasy gets me hyped up each and every single day j waiting for those 2 extra chapters getting updated

      He sacrifices a part of his soul which results in a permanent loss of the related body part in exchange for power. Recently though we've seen a way that he can attempt to regrow it but it is probably still a few hundred chapters away

      It also includes fire and ice, darkness and light powers in which you get something good but with side effects such as: shang using ice mana but making his temperature higher (I think? I don't remember that much) The neutralization of mana etc.

      A tremendous strength boost or something like that for a sacrifice for a body part. Eye, leg, arm, etc. It depends on how much he uses, he uses less of it, sacrificing something small that can be regained. He uses a lot and sacrifices a limb. I haven't read it in awhile but I'm pretty sure that's what it does.

        Well he is wrong lol. He can permanently sacrifice a piece of himself for a tremendous but temporary(as in a single attack) power boost. It also has a basically passive effect from becoming a 3rd stage warior of sacrificing life energy to convert any mana to natural mana basically turning enemy attack into energy.
