“Haha, there’s tons I know,” said Nie Li with a grin. “For example, your sect master enjoys the pastry made by you. She would often praise you for being most caring.”

Upon hearing Nie Li’s words, Phoenix Feather furrowed her brows slightly. Why did the sect master tell such a private and intimate matter to Nie Li?

“Don’t tell me you are capable of reading minds?” Phoenix Feather shuddered slightly as she stared intently at Nie Li.

“Haha, Elder Phoenix Feather, that’s funny. If I really could read minds, how can you not sense it at all considering your cultivation level?” laughed Nie Li loudly. “Not only do I know things you are aware of, I also know things you aren’t aware of.”

“What are they?” Phoenix Feather frowned slightly.

“Elder Phoenix Feather, shall we speak in private?” Nie Li looked at Xu Hu and Xu Long as he asked hesitantly.

Phoenix Feather clearly had a hesitant look.

Xu Hu and Xu Long hurriedly looked at Phoenix Feather and said, “Elder Phoenix Feather, don’t fall for this guy’s words. He’s cunning and scheming.”

“Elder Phoenix Feather, I’ll leave it to you to decide,” said Nie Li with a light smile as he headed outside.

Phoenix Feather waved her hand and said, “I’m well aware. There’s no need for you to speak further.”

Phoenix Feather flew across the sky and landed beside Nie Li. With a wave of her right hand, a mark gradually enveloped them within. She glanced at Nie Li and said, “Speak. This is a sound isolation array.”

“Do not be alarmed by what I have to say,” said Nie Li as he looked at her with a deep, meaningful look.

“Alarmed? What’s there to be alarmed about? Don’t keep me guessing and cut to the chase.” Phoenix Feather frowned as she had a hunch that what Nie Li wanted to talk about had to do with the sect master. Furthermore, it was something by no means insignificant. Her curiosity had been greatly piqued.

“In fact, I’m your sect master’s Dao partner,” said Nie Li as he deliberately looked at her with a deep, meaningful look.

“How is that possible? You must be lying. How dare you insult our sect master? I’ll kill you!” A sharp sword suddenly appeared in Phoenix Feather’s hand as she held it by Nie Li’s neck. She was extremely peeved.

Nie Li only looked at her calmly and said, “Elder Phoenix Feather, why don’t you hear what I have to say in full?”

“I do want to hear what nonsense you can spout!” Phoenix Feather snorted coldly. The sect master was pure and reigned supreme among the demons. How could it be possible for her to fool around with a human?

Nie Li had determined that Phoenix Feather would not kill him. As for the Demon God’s Sect’s sect master, Mu Yue, he did not mind tarnishing her reputation. For that, Nie Li would definitely not go easy on her.

“Elder Phoenix Feather, you are one of the closest people to Mu Yue. You naturally know that the dragon pattern seal I mentioned is not the only one. She has six of them all over her body. Two of them are at her legs, one at her shoulder blade, and the remaining two are…” Nie Li appeared as though he had more to say.

“The reason why I used the Sky Theft Sun Changing is to accomplish a very ambitious project!” Nie Li said with a smile suffusing the corner of his lips.

“So that’s the case.” Phoenix Feather felt enlightened.

If Nie Li was truly a demon, his possession of a human’s body explained everything.

Only two or three people in the Demon God’s Sect knew about the spots of the dragon pattern seals on her sect master’s body. Since Nie Li knew of it, he had to be extremely intimate with her.

There had to be a reason for Nie Li to be such a well-kept secret. Perhaps, he was planted by the sect master for some special plan.
