Tempest of the Stellar War
Chapter 81: Godly Skill

Finished.!

Boom...

Sparks flew in every direction.

Skeleton WIN!

The battle had ended.

It was so silent that even if a pin dropped on the floor, one would be able to hear it.

Young Deer was jumping around in mid air before he stumbled and fell onto the floor. It was akin to a deer prancing around in the forest before getting shot in the head and falling to the ground

In the battlefield, Magical Bird's Wargod No. 1 had exploded.

The sight of the sparks was piercing, but all that was left on the other side was a one-legged Wargod No. 1 surrounded by flames. Everything stood still.

Three minutes had passed in complete silence with no one saying anything.

Whispers ensued in the arena. What had just happened?

He managed to counterattack the Yasopp X Melee Killing Move?

Did Magical Bird make a mistake??

The livestream replayed Magical Bird's final fatal move on a big screen with the match's statistics in a red box in the corner of the screen.

Without a doubt, it was a perfectly executed killing move!

It was also the first of its kind on Earth's arena!

It was known as a legendary gunnery technique - a sure kill technique. Furthermore, it had been executed perfectly. How could it have failed?

As though there was nothing wrong, Skeleton blasted into the skies. Yes, he managed to dodge three shots, but as for the other two shots, he blocked one shot and got hit by the other one.

There was nothing left to see; the performance should have ended there.

The one-legged Wargod No. 1 had then landed on the ground. However, it seemed to have withstood the huge force on it as it fell. In the slow motion camera, once the mech touched the ground, the Wargod No. 1's engine burst out with full power instantaneously. On the right-hand side of the screen, the red box displayed the engine's energy statistics. The moment Skeleton's Wargod No. 1 landed, the engine rumbled to its peak without a doubt, demonstrating his excellent control!

It was then that a miracle happened.

He used his left leg as a pivoting point, and in combination with his excellent control, the mech utilized the momentum to accelerate his movement to its peak. At that instant, he fired off a laser!

In the midst of roaring noise came a furious shout….

S**t!!!!!

A beautiful arc was drawn in the air by the movement of the laser shot!

It had completely bypassed the meteorite, falling inbetween the two!!!

After the slow motion camera had played the video, the entire audience had fallen into a tranquil silence.

Legend has it that in the entire Milky Way Galaxy, there were only less than 10 people who could reproduce the Arched Shot technique!!!

These few people were destined to become gods of war, the treasure of each alliance.

Shouts erupted in cheer as the audience was whipped into a frenzy!

It was the invincible rhythm of a god!

Solon's face turned from white to an intense red in an instant. He then jumped on top of the table and roared like King Kong in his excitement. "Sh*t, sh*t, shi*t! This is it! Just like that! Just like that! ARGHHHHHH!"

So what if he was the president of the CT association? Nothing else was as important as this!

Only when one felt despair could there be hope. It represented everything!

The staff in the office jumped around in euphoria and everyone hugged each other.

The number of viewers in the live VIP broadcast skyrocketed and broke 1.5 million views and was trending on online forums.

This was the first usage of the simulation system in the Solar System, and two amazing things happened. Firstly, Yasopp's X Melee Killing Move was showcased, and the other was the godly Arched Shot technique!

Two legendary skills had debuted on Earth.

The Arched Shot, on the other hand, was truly astounding. It was undeniably the first time it was seen in the Solar System!

This was the rhythm of a god! This was the strength of a god!

Wang Zheng removed the tactile interface and closed his eyes slightly while attempting to reminisce the feeling of that last shot he fired. Bonehead had spent three years to devise a special training regime for him to adapt to the water, earth, wind, and air. He had been through all of the training sessions on multiple occasions. Indeed, he had endured all the training and hardship, but still lacked the ability to advance to the second level. Although he had yet to advance to second level, the skills he learned from the first level were much better compared to before, and his understanding of the environment was even more profound.

A slight light could be seen inside his eyes. This was actually a form of physical energy. As he was inside the virtual servers of CT, he could not tap into its power. Conversely, if the same battle happened in reality, he would have been able to adapt to it even quicker.

In the eyes of ordinary people, his technique was incredible. However, to Bonehead, it was still miles away from what he expected.

Although Bonehead was a robot, Wang Zheng felt that Bonehead yearned for the revival of the Rand Empire and possessed the qualities of a soldier.

Wang Zheng was a little stunned, but he was also curious at the same time. Just how great was this empire of his?

The battle had ended. Wang Zheng wasn't in the mood for interviews as he needed a good night's rest before the events of the next day.

Lin Huiyin?

It would definitely be difficult to get along with this arrogant lady. But fortunately, Ye Zisu was around, and she would be able to solve any issues that arose.

Wang Zheng bade farewell to the Boss but was instead completely ignored. He was considered a regular customer and could just leave the money on the counter.

Nearly a hundred people had gathered around a big screen to watch the replay of the battle. To fully immerse oneself in the experience, one had to either watch it in the VIP area, or watch it with a group of like-minded individuals.

Wang Zheng didnt care about the competition and walked out of the internet cafe before he gazed at the sky. Hopefully, Aina was living a better life!

Wang Zheng did not take public transport back home but ran instead.

Bubbly Foam gently patted Young Deer's shoulder. Young Deer looked as though he was in his own world as he stood there completely dazed.

The highs and lows of the battle were too stimulating. Although Young Deer's heart was firm, this had clearly surpassed the limits of what he could take.

"Arched...gunnery….arched….gunnery…."

As a commentator, Young Deer had three years of experience and was a senior. He had always been eager to witness legendary skills, skills that were rarely seen on Earth. He was an enthusiast when it came to the different kinds of special skills used by the mech pilots. When the Yasopp X Melee Killing Move appeared, he was absolutely excited. But amongst all the skills he had witnessed, the skill that mesmerized him the most was the Arched Shot. It was a super skill that violated the conventional laws of physics. Furthermore, the execution was extremely beautiful, and it would be more accurately said to be a piece of art!

That beautiful arc, which pierced through the sky, had also managed to finally change Young Deer's persistent attitude.

"Old Deer, Old Deer, are you okay?"

Bubbly Foam felt that something was amiss. Hopefully nothing was wrong.

"What do you think? Is he truly a god?"

Young Deer asked abruptly.

Bubbly Foam went blank. "Old Deer, are you alright? There is no god here."

Bubbly Foam debuted as a commentator not long ago with her beautiful appearance and professional abilities in the CT scene and hence was more willing to accept alternative opinions. Young Deer, on the other hand, was a stubborn person. He was knowledgeable, but because of his vast experience, he became stubborn and remained unconvinced of many things.

But that one shot had completely destroyed Young Deer's stubbornness. Each and every commentator had hoped that one day someone would perform such a skill and to bring glory for the people on Earth.

Today, that dream was finally attained. Furthermore, two high level techniques had been shown for the first time.

Once Bubbly Foam saw that Old Deer was fine, she continued to summarize the battle for today. Skeleton had once again performed a miracle on stage, and the legend lived on.

Lear sat quietly in front of the large video screen, motionlessly watching the replay of the battle, and he even watched the analysis.

The caretaker looked on silently from a corner. He was completely baffled. Before the competition began, he thought that this guy was a little interesting and was a suitable opponent to practice with. Little did he expect such an ending….

Lear quietly analyzed every action and every detail of the battle. In hindsight, the only point where he had been suppressed was that last moment.

Was it even possible to dodge the Arched Shot?

It was definitely possible to do so, but he had made a mistake. He thought that victory was in his hands. After assessing his opponent's situation, he had assumed that the meteorite had blocked the crippled opponent's line of sight. However, the battlefield was constantly changing.

The difference was less than that of a hair's breadth!

Failed! He had actually failed!

Moreover, he had made such a stupid mistake!

"Have you discovered who this man is yet?"

Lear asked solemnly.

"Young Master, I'm afraid this man has an unfathomable background. We tried to trace his background, but it was to no avail. If we had gone any deeper, we would have crossed the line, so our only choice was to give up."

Drupp said apprehensively.

Lear paused and nodded his head. With such strength, he was definitely not an ordinary person, and a large organization must be behind him.

Who could it be then?

The Earth was his power and territory. Who would interfere with that?

Perhaps this guy was deliberately trying to cause him trouble?

Was it the guy from Mars or was it the other brat from the Moon?

Thinking of Masasi, he thought that the guy from the Moon was more likely to be the troublemaker.

In this case, who was the scalpel?

Lear went into deep thought.

"You may leave. Increase tomorrow's training by three times!"

Lear waved his hands. Failure had a price!

Drupp left and Lear switched off the broadcast. He opened the door to the gravity chamber and increased the gravity to eight times normal and dashed in.

Beast-like roars echoed from within the gravity chamber.

Concurrently, Wang Zheng was running to the stall near school to have his supper. In no time, he had five empty bowls by his side, and the total cost for his supper was only 20 dollars. Life was amazing.

CT VIP audience numbers had been increasing and finally stopped at 1.8 million views, a new record for Asia.

The real Magical Bird had also walked out of his seat. Magical Bird was a veteran in the diamond rank, and a lot of people were familiar with him. If he truly possessed such skills, he would have long become a god.

Magical Bird wasn't able to pretend anymore and came forward to admit that the guy on the battlefield wasn't him but a mysterious friend who wished to remain anonymous and had only hoped to fight with Skeleton.

Simply a friend who could execute Yasopps X Melee Killing Move and could utilize the Wargod No. 1 to perfection.

With that person's skills, he would have a straight path to the top. Yet who would have expected that mysterious friend to fail? Facing the Arched Shot, this war god had to take a step back to let another war god advance.

The most important element of the fight was Skeleton's ability to pilot the Wargod No. 1. Even with one leg, he was able to move the mech in such a way to attain victory. It was simply a god-tier movement.

A lot of people were not satisfied after watching the battle for the first time and went in VVIP to experience the battle again. In VVIP, it was more immersive; it was as though one was truly inside the battlefield, feeling the heat and the tremors of the ground. Altogether, it felt different compared to ordinary CT. It was more violent, more enjoyable, and this battle environment alone was enough to entice people.

Simulating an environment was what everyone wanted all along. Before, most of the players were dissatisfied with the environment as it didn't provide any challenge. However, there was no need to go to the extent of fully emulating cruel reality. Yet surprising changes always made training more interesting.

Surprising One Shot, Skeleton's God-Tier Skill!

The Solar System Federation's First Arched Shot! The Legend is Real!

Mysterious Skilled Fighter Loses! Skeleton Proclaimed to be Invincible!

Discussions of all sorts had exploded in all of the major community forums. The standard of battle was exceptional, especially after seeing the crazy control of skills.

The Skeleton Corps was celebrating in their base. The battle was hard fought with lots of dangerous moments, but eventually Skeleton attained victory. The final skill had turned the tide of the battle. Although the fake Magical Bird was in the lead at first and possessed the absolute advantage, he made a mistake and lost the battle.

In the girls' dormitory, An Mei and the girls had snacks strewn all around the place, eating while watching the duel. As military school girls, they were knowledgeable enough to analyse the fight and loved these kind of duels. Even the girls thought that Skeleton was sure to lose, but he managed to make a comeback.
