Which is better, the webnovel or light novel? I heard the light novel had some changes to it compared to the webnovel so I'd like an opinion before reading

Basically the Anime is based on the LN and not the WN. The WN is a draft of the LN so it lacks a lot of important details that the LN have, and cause of that the LN is much more enjoyable than the WN. I'd personally prefer the LN over the WN but if you want to read a complete story then this is also good (the only major changes are the ending's and Antagonist's) *Spoiler* the main antagonist of the LN without a doubt is Feldway, manipulating individuals to become Rimuru's enemy or just try to attack Rimuru and what not the main antagonist of WN is Yuuki Kagurazaka (don’t have the energy to explain why he's the main antagonist)

can someone tells me if he gets another human form. because its starting to confuse me a bit. cuz his current form doesn't have a gender so you would think it looks both female and male at them same time but from what i read its all female and for some reason child like. this confuses me because he was a guy in his last life but chose the appearance of a girl. dose he just like looking like one or is he paying respects to the body it was based on. and if so couldn't he just make another body that he likes. i mean he did it for his dragon friend?

paying respect to the body but he is a guy so he hose the androgynous form. When they change perspective to a character who doesn't know him they use her

Btw for anyone who wants to read the LN just search ''slime readers''the translation are ok and you get the option to select the preferred translation or alternative names of a lot of things ( example...Western Holy Church/ Western Saints Church) or ( Gabil/Gabiru and so on...) it has the 6th volume till the 20th valume and the manga from chapter 65 till 106 :)

Web novel was made first when it was posted in the web as the name says. Light novel came later when it became a serialised series, and the author chances some parts of the history like adding arcs, characters, etc

No clue. I've tried finding it, but couldn't. So I ended up to listening the whole series as audiobooks on Yt

The wiki says arc 10 is the final arc and it ends at chapter 249??? So what about the other ~200 chapters left? Are all of them side storys?

yes but each chapter is divided into countless (+15) which enormously increases the total number of chapters

Yes they are side stories, but they have some importance if you want to know the full picture and they are fun to read

I have a question what is the difference between light novel and web novel of the same novel Aren’t they the same story from the same author

Most of the time, the WN is the first source of the series and is published on the internet for free, normally the authors change the story a little bit in the LN for improvement and profit reasons but they are still pretty similar

Light Novel are officially published books. While Web Novels are freely posted on the internet. So a WN is kinda like a draft of a LN.
