In the beginning, the author plays the role of an extra with no ambition other than quietly waiting for the story to end. He is almost like a babysitter that watches over the plotline, however, this will only be in the first 40 chapters or so as he will soon be dragged into the plotline regardless of how much he doesn’t want to.
The MC may come off as someone that has no ambition in the beginning but as the story progresses it will change
Also, there may be a bit of info-dumping at the beginning of the novel (at least the first 30 chapters), but there shouldn’t be anymore in the following chapters. Well…being a new author I may end up doing it again. If I do so please do criticize me and scold me. If you don’t scold me how am I supposed to improve the story? What’s great about writing web novels is that I actually can hear your advice and opinions. You are just as much invested in this story as I am, so please help me out.

Also, yes, the novel is inspired by TNE (The novel’s extra) you may see a lot of similarities in the beginning, but for future chapters the differences will start to become more apparent. I hope you manage to stick through it. Also, don’t come reading this expecting it to be another TNE. In fact don’t compare the two. If you do, the flaws of this book will become more apparent as you read ruining the whole experience

I’m considering reading this but I’ve just got a question, is the mc stronger than the protagonist for a good chunk of the story or does he just get stronger at the end? Or is he just weaker forever

the best part in this novel is where another ren asks ren what the name of his city and campus is and he only remembers city A and campus B it makes me shudder like wooah there is no other world this is his real world (just like klein reveals the truth of the world).
What a beautiful journey, even if the end seem very rushed it was a beautiful experience. For anyone that want to start this novel, I assure you that you will not regret it.

Really? This gem got pushed down the rankings by a random cheap knockoff with the same streamlined and overused trope 😬 At least this one was done well even if it bears similarity to TNE which is rectified by the Author as he progressed!! This can be said to be the best alternative for TNE with its own unique character setting,cast of side characters, good antagonist and plot development which is done well. The Rankings really need to be changed from bottom up.
Amazing protagonist, good cast, cool powers, probably the best main antagonists, great plot. The author's pov has almost everything you could ask for a memorable reading experience. It's not a flawless story and there are some problems. It has a slow start and the ending arc was a bit rushed and underwhelming, also the continued revival of some deceased characters wasn't a good choice. However These problems doesn't hold it back from being a great novel. 4. 5/5
I forgot where I left off, so I am going to re-read. But the thought of reading the first 100 chapters is daunting😬😬
