The disciples who had left there scarcely mentioned the conditions of the Martial Field, so not many people in the Realm of Divine Martial Arts knew a lot about it.

It was in a river at the intersection of the Middle River and the South Sea.

As they had imagined, the Martial Field was a World of Meson. There was an opening between it and the Realm of Divine Martial Arts, through which people could come and go.

Jiang Chen was almost attacked as he approached.

As a result, he came back to the water surface and went back to the air to tell Xiao Nuo about the situation.

Xiao Nuo nodded. She did not think it was a big problem.

The Demon used to be one of the races living in the Black Yellow Great World.

The current Wizard, famous for their strength, was nothing compared to the Demon.

The Demon had existed since the preliterate times. They gave the gods of that age lots of headaches.

When those gods still existed, the Demon could not do much, since they had been suppressed.

When the calamity that led to the disintegration of the Black Yellow Great World happened, the gods also left. Then the Demon rose again, planning to rule all of the other races.

After the preliterate times, the other races had been fighting the Demon from the start of the ancient times to the Era of Heroes.

In the end, the righteous defeated the evil. The Demon was eliminated.

The Alien Battlefield outside the Nine Realms used to be one of the battlefields where the war with the Demon took place.

Besides, the Demonic Abyss was the defeated Demons’ tomb.

The other races forced the Demon into the abyss, thinking that would resolve the problem once and for all.

However, the abyss turned into a farm, where dreadful Demons were born.

Fortunately, the Goddess of Empyrean appeared at that time. She suppressed the Demonic Abyss. She turned it into a World of Meson and sealed it off with the Divine Chain to Tie Demon.

“The Three Great Forces are using the Demonic Abyss as the place for Sovereign Descendants to take adventures. Are they insane?” Xiao Nuo complained.

“They should have cleared the place.”

Like the ancient relics in the West Wildness, many strong men had removed the dreadful risks there before those Sovereign Descendants went.

However, at the thought of the history of the Demonic Abyss, Jiang Chen had to say the Three Great Forces were quite bold.

While they were talking, three old men arrived. They surrounded the two.

“No matter who you are, get out of here as soon as possible.”

“They are strong here,” said Xiao Nuo.

“No one is allowed to unseal the Demonic Abyss. Otherwise, the Nine Realms will fall into chaos.”

“Even though you are a Venerable Sovereign, don’t you think about acting amuck!”

“Leave now. Everything is negotiable.”

“Even the Sacred Institute was already gone. How dare you put on airs here?!”

Xiao Nuo snorted, eager to fight them. She would like to see how great these protectors from the Sacred Institute were.

“Wait a second.”

Jiang Chen sensed there was something wrong. He drew Xiao Nuo over. Facing the three protectors, he said, “We didn’t say we would unseal the Demonic Abyss. Why would you think we would?”

The protectors all frowned at him.

The protector who had yelled was a hot temper. Seeing Jiang Chen, a young man, speak to him like that, he flew into a rage.

However, another protector, who was the boss among them, was a much calmer person.

“Who are you talking about?” he asked Jiang Chen.

“Whitty. He came as the Monster’s Sovereign Descendant. He is trapped there because he missed the passage leading outside,” said Jiang Chen.

The three protectors apparently knew about this. They exchanged a look and communicated through holy awareness.

“You are not here to release the Demon? You are sure?”

“We are humans. Why would we release them?” Jiang Chen said, feeling funny.

“Someone told us that a new ambitious Venerable Sovereign was going to reunite the Black Yellow Great World and lead the Demon to invade the great world!” the hot-tempered protector told them everything. He just could not keep it to himself anymore.

Exchanging a look, Jiang Chen and Xiao Nuo showed a bitter smile.

These protectors seemed to be somewhat naïve.
