Chapter 36: Bloodline Memories

Xiao Ya just kept quiet, not saying a word to Wang Hao.

“Eh, you are really considering that? I thought you are into females?”

“What I appreciate is beauty. If you knew my father, you will slowly realize that gender does not matter. Beauty does.” Xiao Ya said all of this with dignity. She suddenly paused, with her eyes wide open while looking towards Fang Lin and Fang Yu.

“What is happening to them?”

Wang Hao replied “Do you know that each type of Godly Divine Beast can only exist one at a time? That means there can be only one holder of Yin-Yang Beast Bloodline. Once that bloodline holder dies, that will be the only time that a new holder of the Yin-Yang Beast Blodline will appear.”

“For each successive new owners, the important memories of the previous Yin-Yang Beast Bloodline holders will be preserved in the bloodline for the next holder to use. These memories include techniques unique to that Godly Divine Beast Bloodline, martial and cultivation techniques, and even some opponents that the previous bloodline holders had fought.” Wang Hao then pointed his fingers at the focused duo.

“Right now, Fang Lin’s official breakthrough to the First Stage has opened up some bloodline memories for him. Now it just depends on him on how much he can learn.”

Inside Xiao Ya’s Void Sphere

Fang Lin and Fang Yu still sat crossed-legged as they felt the images on their backs fuse together, forming the Yin-Yang symbol. Their bodies fused too and the original Fang Lin reappeared again after more than a month of separation. He clearly felt that with the fusing of the Immortal and God power on his body, this original body of his can fight equally against those at the Peak Second Stage!

But before he can ruminate on his newfound strength, he heard a mellow chant inside his soul. All of his mind and body at that moment listened at this chant.

“From zero comes one.”

Fang Lin then saw a vision the universe. It was just composed of chaos and nothingness (Wuji). Suddenly, order appeared and everything existed perfectly as one (Taiji).

“From one comes two”

Fang Lin then saw the universe divide itself into two forces. The mellow, accommodating one (Yin) and the hard, aggressive one (Yang). Together, they formed the duality (Lianying).

“From two comes four”

Fang Lin then saw that even the most Yin or Yang oriented thing in the universe still has the opposite perspective in it. The universe was then composed of the Greater Yin, Greater Yang, Lesser Yin and Lesser Yang (Sixiang).

“And the four are expressed through the eight”

Fang Lin then saw the Yin and Yang manifested as the eight foundations of the universe.

☰ (Qian), ☱ (Dui), ☲ (Li), ☳ (Zhen), ☴ (Xun), ☵ (Kan), ☶ (Gen) and ☷ (Kun). These eight symbols can represent the whole universe (Bagua)!

After seeing this, Fang Lin felt as if he was able to get a glimpse on the true meaning of his bloodline. After hearing this chant, Fang Lin’s vision was replaced with something that is the opposite of the calm event earlier.

He saw an endless space. In this space, countless broken planets flitted by. Suddenly, Fang Lin saw huge energy ripples at a nearby spot. He looked over there and what he saw was a battle.

He saw a hydra with 8 heads angrily roaring at what’s in front of it. Fang Lin then felt his bloodline telling him what that hydra is.

“It’s the Multi-Headed King Hydra!”

The Multi-Headed King Hydra was another type of Godly Divine Beast. When it was first born, it has no head at all. It will only sprout a head after it gains a stage. That means it will have one head at the First Stage, two at the Second Stage and so on and so forth. What’s special about these heads is that each head can learn learn its own separate Law or Dao! That means a Ninth Stage Multi-Headed King Hydra would have learned nine Laws or Daos already!

The hydra that Fang Lin sees right now is obviously at the Eight Stage. This hydra seems to be hostile and ready to fight what was in front of it. When Fang Lin tried to look on who was about to battle the hydra, he saw too figures standing side by side. Once seeing them, Fang Lin’s bloodline immediately rumbled.

“They are the previous Yin-Yang Bloodline Holders!”

He saw a man and a woman standing with both of them holding swords. The man had long, graceful hair that reached down his waist. His face and complexion exuded a handsome visage that seemed to overshadow Fang Lin’s. The woman on the other hand, sported a seductive body that left even Fang Lin panting for his breath. Her graceful, curving body line just accentuated her full breasts and outstanding butt. They stared at the hydra, ready to fight it.

Fang Lin then wondered to himself why they are not fusing yet. But he then realized this person must be keeping it as a trump card. Suddenly, the battle already began.

But too bad for Fang Lin. Because of his limited cultivation and experiences, he was not able to see most of the battle.

“Focus!!!!”

Fang Lin then drove his concentration to its limits. He tried to observe the hydra first, hoping that it could incite a reaction towards the Twelve Essences Divine Martial Arts. After watching intently for 90 minutes, he felt the ‘Snake’ aspect responding. Now, he just needed to be the hydra and fully comprehend how to be a hydra. Once he succeeds, he will produce the essence of the Multi-Headed King Hydra!

“Yes!”

But before he could emulate its forms, he felt his body unable to emulate the hydra. Of course how can he do that easily? This is a godly divine beast! If Fang Lin wants to fully emulate the essence of the Multi-Headed King Hydra, he must be at least at the Sixth Stage! Fang Lin sighed regretfully.

“Well, I just need to reach the Sixth Stage to do this. Once that happens, hehehehe….”

Realizing that he was done with the hydra, Fang Lin then connected deeply with his bloodline and focused on his fighting predecessors. After 30 minutes, he saw that the male and female, who were about hundreds of kilometer away from each other, suddenly switched places.

“Transposition!”

Fang Lin immediately felt that his bloodline has improved. A new bloodline technique was then imprinted on his mind.

The Multi-Headed King Hydra let out a frustrated shout. It looked resentfully towards the duo. Upon realizing that neither of them could win, it then flew away. The Yin-Yang Duo did not bother to pursue it. Fang Lin then realized that the bloodline memory was about to end.

But before he could exit, he saw the unexpected.

The Yin-Yang Duo was kissing each other!

“No! I ain’t doing that!” Fang Lin immediately got overwhelmed by what he saw.

“Are these two perverts? Well, I AM NOT GOING TO DO THAT. I am sure this bloodline holder in my memories is just a pervert with no lovers!”

“I am sure that my bloodline will not make me do this in the future!” Fang Lin said confidently to himself. But then, he said with doubtful voice,
