“Well, I just need to wait for some minutes and they will heal by themselves.” Fang Yu muttered as she wiped the sweat off her forehead.

Her fight with the white humanoid was a close call, and if not for her enlightenment of the Up-Down Duality Concept, then maybe now she will be locked in a mental fight against the white humanoid.

“Fang Yu.” Genie, who managed to already fix her disarrayed clothes gave Fang Yu an inquisitive look as she asked her,

“How were you able to do that? How were you able to resist the effects of whatever that white humanoid did?”

“Like what I told you earlier, I comprehended UP and DOWN, and that allowed me to resist the white humanoid’s ability.” Fang Yu replied, telling Genie the same thing that she said to the white humanoid earlier.

“What do you even mean by that?” Genie pouted, also looking confused. But after seeing that Fang Yu will not explain anything to her, Genie let out a huff before approaching Andromeda, who looked extremely shaken.

Fang Yu smiled as she praised her luck this time.

Who would have thought that she will be able to comprehend her 6th Duality Concept during her fight with the white humanoid?

This 6th Concept is the Up-Down Duality Concept, and even now, Fang Yu was already excited for all the things that she can do with it!

In Fang Yu’s case, she was being forced to move in a downward direction.

When Fang Yu realized that, she thought,

“Wait, all kinds of direction have their opposites, right?”

Fang Yu’s mind started to spin as she began to contemplate on this realization more. She could not stop thinking at that time, as she felt compelled to think about it!

“If an object is moving to the left, its opposite will be moving to the right. If an object is falling down, then its opposite is shooting straight up.”

This realization sparked an insight inside Fang Yu’s mind, as she realized this concept of opposing directions exist everywhere in the universe!

And Fang Yu was not just talking about the normal directions, she was also thinking about the conceptual directions!

And since she got it by experiencing the power of going Down, Fang Yu decided to call her duality concept of Opposing Directions the Up-Down Duality Concept.

And if her Stage allows it, then Fang Yu can directly manipulate these directions!

That means she can make an attack approaching her to be deflected back to the opposite direction, or she can make a person older or younger, based on what she wanted.

But Fang Yu’s current power can at least allow her to somehow manipulate the direction of her opponent’s attacks.

As long as Fang Yu trains more, she will be able to do more ridiculous things with the Up-Down Duality Concept!

One must also know that with her Duality Godly Divine Beast Core, Fang Yu can create Dual Marks for every Duality Concept that she comprehends.

And with the upgrade she received in her cores earlier, she can now create Dual Marks just right after she comprehends a duality concept.

That was what Fang Yu did, creating the Dual Marks for the Up-Down Duality Concept right before the white humanoid attacked her.

After a few seconds of tense waiting, the symbols ↑ and ↓ suddenly appeared in her Duality Godly Divine Beast Core.

These two symbols are the Dual Marks for Fang Yu’s Up-Down Duality Concept!

These two symbols have different effects, just like the way their directions are opposed with each other.

The symbol ↓ forces an object to go on its opposite direction, whether this direction is physical like movement vectors or abstract like age!

In simpler terms, the symbol ↓ can oppose the abstract or physical direction of an object!

This means that Fang Yu can use the symbol ↓ to make an attack approaching her to go at the opposite direction, or she can reverse the rotation of an object, making its rotation change from clockwise to counter-clockwise.

On the other hand, the symbol ↑ does the opposite thing.

Instead of opposing the direction of an object, the symbol ↑ magnifies or increases the direction of the said object.

This means that if she uses the symbol ↑ on a moving vehicle, instead of making the vehicle go in the opposite direction, the vehicle will be forced to go faster as it continues on moving at the same direction.

In short:

1. The symbol ↓ negates direction.

2. The symbol ↑ makes direction ‘more positive’.

These two opposing effects are the abilities that Fang Yu gained from the Up-Down Dual Marks, and she used them to defeat the white humanoid!

In order for her to counter-act the ‘Control’ of the white humanoid, Fang Yu activated the symbol ↓ to use its negation effect.

But instead on using it on the ‘Control’ that was pinning her down, Fang Yu used the symbol ↓ on a different object.

It was because if she used the negation effect on the ‘Control’ pinning her down, what will happen is that the ‘Control’ will just change direction.

If that happens then instead of being pushed down, then Fang Yu will be catapulted upwards, which will just make it worse for her.

So what Fang Yu did was to use the symbol ↓ on her own body.

After using the symbol ↓ on herself, Fang Yu’s body, instead of going down, started to go up.

That was to be expected as before using the symbol, Fang Yu was going down as the consequence of ‘Control’ pushing her down.

The symbol ↓ then reversed this downward direction of Fang Yu’s body, which led to her starting to go up.

Because of the equality of their magnitudes, the upward and the downward push on Fang Yu’s body to neutralized each other, which made Fang Yu feel neither of them.

This put Fang Yu back in an equilibrium state, allowing her to move freely again.

But due to her limited cultivation, Fang Yu can only keep up this state of hers for 10 seconds.

In that 10 seconds, Fang Yu should kill the white humanoid so that his ‘Control’ will disappear.

As an experiment, Fang Yu then decided to use the symbol ↑ on her right fist, increasing its velocity.

Coupled with the Red Martial Aura and the Mountain-Bashing Boar Core, and Fang Yu’s punch reached a level of destruction much higher than before!

“Now I gained another ability, but it seems like I can only use this as a trump card. Well, at least it is a good trump card.” Fang Yu muttered as she looked at the corpses of both the skeletal horses and the white humanoid.

She looked at them for a few seconds, and then she let out a shout of frustration as she furiously face-palmed.

“S**t! I almost forgot that I can do that!” Fang Yu shook her head as she began to gaze at the skeletal horses and the white humanoid with greed.

Andromeda, who saw Fang Yu’s look, let out a sigh as she realized that Fang Yu is up to her old antics again.

Fang Yu then rubbed her palms excitedly as she quickly approached her fallen enemies.

Fang Yu has the Moon-Eating Serpent Divine Beast Core, which means that she can use its Devour ability on the bodies of the skeletal horses and of the white humanoid!

Not only she can get energy from them, but it is highly possible that they have memories that can help Fang Yu on identifying Solomon and his real power.

“Thanks for the treat!” Fang Yu shouted as she black whirlpool appeared in front of her, which began to suck in both the skeletal horses and the white humanoid.

Fang Yu has to devour them now, or else Solomon’s next attack will not allow her to do that!
