Well this was one heck of a read, would definitely recommend if you're lookin for something dark and gritty, this is the first novel that I have read where there is no info dump (I've been reading LN for the past 8 years), everything is to the point, and by dark I mean crazy dark, many readers may not like the MC's character but he is the product of his circumstances, he goes through a lot and survives. Friendly reminder the last chapters have bad translation but if you're able to pull through it then It'll be worth it for sure. The Author has some strong opinions about life and the novel is a direct product of those opinions so you might disagree with a lot of those opinions but they are valid and are very relevant to our times. . .
This book is a painful experience, I mean as a Reverend Insanity absolute "Stan" this story just hits the spot. It even does a little better in the sense that we get to "see" and read about the experiences that turn the MC into a complete "monster" little by little. The power system is comprehensive and not about arbitrary levels that stop making sense because op MC can trounce everyone. The main issue however is the translation or writing style whatever you want to call it, it's atrocious. The mistakes are bad and frankly the quality of the story is just that amazing seeing as I just kept reading. As a non native English speaker, I'm not so good that I want to struggle with the issues here. And if that wasn't enough after like 500-600 chapters the translation somehow gets even worse with the names of characters getting mixed up 3-4 times within a few sentences. This just such a shame because this would definitely one of my favorites without these issues and even then I can still recommend it
I picked it up after one year and finished it. Till 600 or so chapters it is good and then translation gets really bad. But the story overall is great. Nothing OP about MC when it comes to situation and while some cliche situations exist they blend in well. Power leveling is linear and OP is like another shang .
Great book, absolutely recommend this if you’re into dark (but not edgy) MCs. The author takes his time to explain every little thing without going into so much detail that you feel bored. There were a few parts that felt like they were solved because of dues ex machina but still overall enjoyable. This book had so much potential. The only reason it doesn’t have a higher rating is because of the abysmal translation. I genuinely feel like this book could have been in the top 50 if it were not for this.
Good dark novel with pretty enjoyable politics. can say that the main character development is pretty good side characters are also nice and romance is alright. There are some missed points in MC that are debatable and some questionable scenarios that could have been done better. interesting world and people, explores humanism and many other aspects of life. Translation iffy here and there, Ending is either hit or miss. (depends on reader)
One of the best novels I've read. Well-built world, progressive power escalation, well-built script, captivating secondary characters, diverse types of powers, and a different power device than we are used to. Many complain about the MC's actions in the first hundred chapters, but forget that he is a kid, and how f*ck*d up the world he is in is. In short, I loved the Romance. If there's anything I would criticize, it's only in the last few chapters, where the scale of power is very absurd, in relation to the original context. But that doesn't spoil the reading at all.
Extremely good novel with excellent character development and world building. This novel explores humanism and many other aspects of life. This site sadly does not have the full translation but overall this story was truly a wonder to read. I do have to warn those though that in the end this story is a tragedy and not for the light-hearted. 8. 75/10
Good novel. The Story is good and it has a good touch of mystery with the whole setting and how it even came to it and the inner wall. Its a very good dark novel with pretty enjoyable politics.
First of all, I would like to thank the author for such an original and magnificent script. I highly recommend you to be. I can say that I have read enough novels to claim that this book is the best. Usually a novel isn't for everyone, but this one should definitely be read by everyone. I can say that the main character development is impeccable. You will be able to feel what each event adds to mc. the background is so deep and wonderful. I finished the novel in Chinese with great difficulty. Anyone who wants a happy ending or not can read it.
Bro... The story isn't bad. Incredible in fact... My main issue is all these spelling errors in these early chapter... I keep getting immersed only to have it ruined by errors. Fix it dammit, try to keep the vibe consistent. These mess ups is just ruining my impression of it. It's a good story tho..

I wish there was a comment section... I want to talk so much shit right now... Like how the hell are you gonna waste my time picturing this mc desperately doing everything he can against this monster for that damn long only to picture some random mystery lady, who is for whatever reason stronger than a Norse god, to pop up from god knows where, and basically flush the waste that was the mc efforts down the drain.
just wanted to remind you the full translation is here now
