Summary

Fate had never been kind to Ji Ning. Wracked by illnesses and infirm his entire life on Earth, Ji Ning knew early on that he would die as a teenager. What he didn’t know was that there really was such a thing as life after death and that the multiverse was a far larger place than he thought.

A lucky twist of fate meant that Ji Ning was reborn into a world of Immortals and monsters, of Ki Refiners and powerful Fiendgods, a world where Dynasties lasted for millions of years. A world which is both greater… and yet also smaller… than he ever could imagine. He would have the opportunity to join them, and in this life, Ji Ning swore to himself, he would never let himself be weak again! The Era he was born into was a Desolate one, but Ji Ning would make it his era.

The fact that he was so tired of cultivation that he destroyed the Little Chaos Universe, in the end, is insane.

I heard this is a great novel. I dont know why I have delayed reading it for so long. Anything I should keep in mind or prepare myself for before starting?

I don't know if you started this novel but this novel has 2 parts. The first part is Peak xianxia and the second part is the reason this novel doesn't have like a 4.9 rating . The second part begins around where the MC fails to become a "real immortal" and it's literally plot that anyone who fails that specific breakthrough dies, but the author pulls some BS to make a recovery arc and it all goes downhill from there. So, expect like 1000 peak xianxia chapters ?

The romance is good at the start but awful finishing, and it can get a little repetitive but otherwise pretty solid novel.

From books 1 to 13 it was very good although it has a lot of plot structure, after this I feel that many scenes are forced, meaningless and the mc becomes silly

Its been 3 yrs. I wish the author already learned how to show and not just tell a story. I only saw few novels in this site knows hot to show. Mostly just tell, even those in top 10.

shadow slave is not as good an example as the rest. Personally for me i feel as thpugh all the other does is progress the story by doing a back and forth of praising one character and then doing the same to the opponent then praising the mc over and over again. Like he will talk about how cunning sunny is 5 times in a single chapter😭Goated book though
