This is such a great novel, like seriously! (≧▽≦) Rui Rui is such a reasonable and real person. No unnecessary drama or misunderstandings between her and Chairman Gu. It is a love story which do not have any complications such as love rivals, jealousy, forced marriage, social status differences, and so on. (✯ᴗ✯) This is such a light read and very romantic. I like the flow of the story and how they treated each other seriously and with respect which shows that they are in it with marriage in mind. I definitely recommend this! (｡•̀ᴗ-)✧

Real score is 3. 5. This is a short story that tries to be as grounded as possible. What it really is though, is a whirlwind romance. Main couple went from dating for two months to getting engaged; I think that's extremely fast. So, despite the author's intention to make this story as believable as possible, it somehow ends up being more of wish-fulfillment story instead. A "real" relationship will have its ups and downs, plus compromises. This doesn't have any of that, just two people meeting and getting together perfectly well; like they were a match made in heaven.

Well this novel hits different from others. It's very relaxing with a simple and sweet romantic story between two people without much of a drama. I guess this type of novel is good to read once in a while.

the story doesnt have that much cliche (unlike those typical copy-paste stories of chinese novels) and this is super cute and full of warmth so yeah you can read this in one sitting and you'll be satisfied! happy reading~

Straight, simple, and romantic.
the FL is realistic and drama-free type.
The story is really fascinating and easy to get hooked, no drama only romance between two people in love with each other. And there's one paragraph that i really love
" life is life, love is love. It's not like we are shooting TV drama or writing a novel"

This is a cute and realistic story between two people interested in each other. There's no silly drama, there's actual communication between the leads and it's really nice seeing them fall for each other. Sometimes, the story was a little bit slow for me which is why I knocked off a star.

I loved it. Well written, cool FL sweet and capable ML no toxic bull. Recommended to make you smile and get excited by their passion. Good closure too

I like the way the author poke fun at all the unreasonable things in the cliche novel. The story itself also nice, Both MLFL was level head and likeable. It’s a good read.

if you are looking for simple romance novels this book is a great read for sure. The story doesn't have unnecessary fillers and its a very sweet novel. <3

It’s okay.. but I can’t say I fell in love with any of the characters.. more than experiencing what they’re like through the plot, it’s more akin to the author dictating their characteristics to me. If you’re fine with that, then you’ll probably like this light hearted romance.
