The Founder of Diabolism

I always thought I didn't finish this novel but it turns out I did. I guess I just really wanted more of it. This was my first chinese BL novel & what an intro haha. Lan Zhan & Wei Ying will always have a special place in my heart. Now, off to finally finish watching the anime. 😄

Firstly i watched the drama THE UNTAMED and immediately loved the storyline and everything. As i had some unanswered questions amd confusions, i watched the Dongua: Mo Dao Zhu Shi which also felt like had some loopholes in the story. So here i am now reading the novel and absolutely loving this as the plot is moving steadily and also thanks to the narrator for beautifully narrating the novel and describing the Chinese words and phrases used here. Even after watching the drama and donghua something felt missing and this novel had all those missing pieces answered and now i am madly in love with this novel, the author and the narrator. 💖

It was my first Chinese novel!! 🥰 And the reason I started to read more web novels. It is easy to say I have a special connection with this and the characters. I was a newbie when I first started to read it I had a hard time remembering the names and following the timeline. I got everything right after my second reading of the whole novel AND it was worth it. I think it's one of the most well-written BLs out there. But it needs to be read slower for those who are like me, haha. I'm giving it five stars because I choose to be more positive about the rating. But it should be a solid four and a half stars.

I found it confusing at the start with all the different names and constant back and forth, it may be due to the fact that it’s from MXTX (it’s her writing style that I have struggled with since I’m not familiarized with it, totally a skill problem). At the start, I didn’t like it, almost considered dropping, but I decided to keep going and I enjoyed it. Give it a chance, at some point everything connects and makes sense, I really liked some characters backstories and how they affected the story.

The best story plot in the history of story plots. Could not find a better MC anywhere. Loved it so much that I have read it 6 times. Wei Ying is perfect!!!

This was such a good novel. It is full of tragedy (like lots of it so if you want to cry. . . ), war, politics, death, gore, mystery, etc. The romance is really well balance here, it is not the focus but it's there. I love how realistic the characters emotions are as well as how they respond to it. I especially love how the MC Wei Wuxian, despite being loyal to the bone with his martial brother, did not force a reconciliation nor did he returned home. That is a very, very rare occurance. They both hurt each other too much that it is only appropriate that they part ways. And Nie Huisang, I love that smart b*st*rd.

I absolutely adore this novel, I've read and reread it several times and still feel the urge to cry every time I finish reading it. I've both laughed and cried while reading this, and it's masterfully written. I love this novel so much that I own the physical volumes. I also recommend all of MXTX's novels because they're all good

This novel was my first Chinese bl, it means a lot to me. MC's interaction with ML is so cute and makes you smile. The world building is well done and has a lot of detail. This novel will make you interested in Chinese novels.

I've read all of this authors books and I can definitely say that this one is amazing. The plot is great, the side characters were all amazing (except for some annoying ones) and I liked how things worked out. There was a lot of angst at times but I love how the ML also stayed by the MC's side. I've read the novel, watched the donghua, and even watched the live action

My first bl story and one of my favorite bl story. . . i love this so much and this is the reason why I'm addicted to bl story pls read this story because it's worth your time and if you don't like the story pls don't leave a mean comment and just drop this. . . thank u
