Prob it was one of your first reads in this genre ngl it's predictable at some points and it felt repetitive

It's not that bad. When you've read everything, including the bad stuff you can live with average quality and not drop it. It's genuinely hard for me to even find a finished book that I haven't already read that isn't either gay or a female protagonist now so I've got to take whatever I can get.

My poison taste test so far: im at chapter 61, its a generic dungeon/tower korean story. Nothing has really provoked any kind emotion from me so far, maybe besides the stuff with his mom. If anyone is a first time reader to the korean tower/dungeon genre you might like this. If youve read a few like myself you’ll probably want to skip unless you like this genre. Ill keep reading for now probably, but im burning out already.edit: let me add that its also a generic returner genre too.

I read this before but wasn't finish since it's still ongoing and just came back now since I seen the manhwa but if my memory serves me right the story is not at all generic. The theme dungeon&hunter yes but the story later will be interesting at least for me so if you have nothing to read then you can try this

Man I remember reading this here around 3 years ago when I was still very new to webnovels. I think this was rank 50-60 back then. I recall that this is a really generic power fantasy comprised of almost every korean cliche from whatever broken parts of my memories I have left of this novel. It was still enjoyable for the me of back then because I hadn't really read much of this genre and was actively looking for these 'leveling' stories. I think I left it somewhere around 250s. One thing I vividly remember from this novel is that the nature of mc was pretty ruthless and actually thought himself as a hero of justice or something. Also no one can convince me that this thing hasn't copied plot points from Solo Leveling, it's not about the necromancer, leveling and gates part but the side characters cast and even the way they interacted with each other.

Solo leveling did not invent gates and leveling.

I remember I read this years ago before it was even completed. I found it when trying to find novels similar to Solo Leveling and I still have a soft spot for tower-themed novels to this day because of this novel. Just the feeling of nostalgia makes me want to read it again someday.

Alright I outright gave up at chapter 5. This is why I dislike korean novels. One sentence paragraphs. Plonk plonk, whoosh, boom, BAMMM fights. The stats aren’t even properly translated, you’re telling me Fatigue and Magic count are properly translated stats? Also the narration to how he entered the tower was so confusing and anticlimactic. Once again Korean novels mediocrity continue to garner high points even tho it’s basic fundamentals are widely lacking? I don’t know why. This whole novel is written like a manhua just read the manhua.

This novel didn't manage to arouse any emotions while reading it, when the attack on this page happened, I was close to finishing it, even now I didn't even bother to finish it, I just didn't get comites during the whole reading, I mean, it's not a novel that I will remember or cherish
