The most frustrating novel I have ever met. The side characters have more chapters than the MC himself, and they make the story more frustrating. There's a substantial amount of texts in a chapter that even if you skip, you won't be missing out. It had so much potential only to suck on the most fundamental things like characters, character setting and plot direction. I don't recommend anyone to read this as this slightly better than common garbage. If I could rate less than 1 star, I would

This novel is mediocre at best. I do read slow paced novels but the characters traits and actions in this novel made me frustrated. The ML is OP but does illogical actions which are contradictory to his goal of lazing around. And the FL is not appealing at all, no relation to her physical traits, but both ML and FL are broken. I cannot even remember the characters nor liking any character which to me shows that the story isn't appealing though the premise was interesting at first.

It's a pp measurement contest every single chapter pain to read. Antagonist are as dumb as an brick. To be honest this novel is mediocre if you have nothing else to read then maybe this might be worth wasting time

What can I say. Well for one this novel is pure garbage. The MC is a lazy turd who does nothing, his mother was poisonef and he didnt do anything but be a sissy. It's boing as hell, read 3 chapters and couldn't take the immature-ness of the MC. I will never read this garbage again.

Why cant the mc act his age? hes literally 19 but acts like he's 9. Overall, the storyline is good so far but i haven't read enough to really make any judgement so imma give it a 4/5 for now and might come back later

Same kind of vibes as TCF but Riley has way more mental issues rather than direct threats to him. It progresses really slow in confronting Riley's problems which brings it down a bit but that is mostly filled in with side character development

I think the potential for this is good. Yes, it's cliche, but if you write it well, it can turn out nicely, but! What is this! The way of writing is bad. Author-nim butchered this storyline and turned it into a stuffy novel with sweet potatoes, argh! I'm crying tears of blood.

You guys talk shit about this too much.saying it cliché, annoying, predicable.in my opinion the storyline is good enough the only wrong here is the lack of details about character, situation but to the point of bad. Some annoyed fo the mage girl cuz the story take a little focus on her ofcourse author make it like that as she the female lead at least i think.MC got some mental illness no doubt bout that for sure he tried to run from it not to overcome his trauma

A lot of people might think this story is bad, but I think they just aren't into stories that progress slowly like this one. Riley is strong enough to do whatever he wants, but he doesn't. He just doesn't want to stand out and have expectations from other people. He was at one point, the strongest hero who defeated the demon king. He himself states that he is tired of being a hero who has to carry the people's hopes and burdens. And another thing that I'm noticing is how the story is implying (to me at least) that there are no 'heroes'. The priests that are supposedly 'holy' suck up to their superiors and make a young child into a priestess for their church, and the magicians (Can't remember their name) use drugs to experiment with people. Even the people in the capital treat other humans like dog shit for living in the slums/lower area. This story isn't for people who like to see the main character surprise everyone with their power or some shit. But the plot and characters are pretty interesting and unique, so give it a chance. [I'm currently around 45, so maybe the story changes later on, but this should be a good summary of what the novel is generally like].
