Does he get powers irl like cultivation online?
Alright, hear me out... This novel sucks. However, even though it sucks, it's one of my favorite novels, to the point it's better than some good novels. Why? I don't really know either. The MC is as inconsistent as it gets, character development sucks, the plot is +-, power system is lackluster, combat is ok only in big wars... There's nothing this novel does well except for the uniqueness of the world setting, but even there it ends up failing. Mixing cultivation with a war setting is not easy, and the author almost did it, but he left behind way too many holes — he himself admits this later on in a 2k chapters note. The empire and army building with a cultivation system is something I always wanted in a novel so I guess that's what makes it one of my favorite novels, even though it sucks. I've read this up to 3k chapters by now (machine translation) and yea I do recommend. Anyway, just don't expect a masterpiece. If you read it solely for the setting like me then it can be fun.
Chinese names are really difficult to remember, it sounds similar. zhao, zhou, wang, wu, li, lee blah blah blah. its annoying. like really, i dont remember a single chinese characters in the story other than the MC Zhao Fu.

The other races are also spawned into the alternate world like the spawned humans that MC got at the first chapters like the Blacksmith, Tailor etc. They only have basic knowledge and common sense which only applies to their own race so they dont have culture yet. I think Humans from spawned from the Orb/Human spawner is different from the Humans who enter the alternate world from Earth.
