D*mn poor mc, the author is probably competing for a spot for stories filled with suffering for their mc's. Edit: Nvermind the hell did this novel delved into, mc's suffering was worth it though.
i haven’t read this for a while but i’ll be honest i have no idea why this has a 4.4 star review, that’s just .4/5 stars off of LOTM SS and RI and yet the actual content of this novel is more like a 6.3 which would be 3.2/3 star novel. i remember all the important characters were female and that for some reason Frey i think his name was the MC, constantly kept getting revealed to the heroines who would then help him and start to fall in love with him”cuz he’s the hero” the only good moments i remember from this novel is when he was sitting crying in his bed telling him self he had to go through this because he was a hero, it was him telling him self he had a job to do and he had to keep doing it because ONLY he was the hero, only he was the one who could do the job. that’s the only memorable moment i enjoyed from this novel. i’ll say this though it’s not total brain rot
I goy 58 chapters in and so far it has just been non-stop tragedy, where MC is constantly stuck between a rock and a hard place. Like there is practically no respite to allow viewers to relax since it is constant t*rt*r* on the mc. Since we want him to have the support of the girls but that is within direct conflict with him surviving, and each time he is able to get more emotional support, he becomes weaker strength wise. You also have the girls actively trying to kill him while he is trying to save him. It is just constant frustration and misunderstanding, which just kept getting worse the more I read. So it is definitely not a relaxing read.
I had to pause for like a year after I reached chapter 150. I just checked and this has 500 chapters... I don't think this Whale has developed enough to continue this.
Lol, this book is 90% emotion and 10% plot. Literally, the whole premise of the book is for you to feel bad for the mc. I mean It was cool at first, but when all we get is a sob story, at some point, it gets redundant. The mc is hopelessly good for no reason, like the guy can't possibly be a human. No human would act the way he does I've read 130 chapters, and honestly, i dont know how much longer I can hold on. Don't even get me started on the system. I'm convinced the system was made purely to make him suffer. Ion even think it was made to save the world from the demon King anymore. Whoever made it just hates frey to death💀
Ah yes this most definitely deserves the “Heartwarming ” tag

Perhaps this is the first well-written Harem novel that evokes several sad and happy feelings at once. And maybe also the first novel where Harem has good characters with a mind to think about and smart and greatly influence the events and the course of the story and help the main character I loved the smart female characters in the story, they are all realistic and memories, unlike other women's novels that only serve fans
should I start this novel, is it emotionally painful like a regressors tale of cultivation? more importantly, is it worth the pain??? (someone pls give me an idea)
