This is a really heartwarming story, i like this kind of isekai where the MC is given a second chance in life just to live happily doing whatever he wants. It may seem kind of slow in some parts, but overall is well detailed so i won't argue on that. His relationship with the slimes is so cute and the gods are funny and really caring.

Love this book, and the anime based off of it. Totally got me through covid with it's sweetness and wholesomeness. Later chapters are starting to heat up into a more traditional conflict setting good/bad.

I love it! Ive read this twice and it really stresses me out not being able to read the next chapter šŸ˜ you just cant help but feel both sad for him and envious that he got the live a 2nd life with magic no less. I love it. I read this with tensura slime which i love since its complete but for legitimately light novel and a little nerdy feel this is good.

Great story. Genuinely Great story. This is not a Revenge plot nor Harem nor Action or a death march to seal the Evil god kinda story But a Pure story with Good set of emotions and character. Believe me, MC will take you to his world.

A lovely story with deep characters being simple without using extremely distorted personalities to tell the story that is very captivating. Thank you all for your great work.

Greet story, plot is amazing, pacing is a little slow at times but it perks right back up. The only thing wrong with this is the strange upload scedual that still has me confused months later

On its pay site it updates weekly, or has the last few months I've been a j-novel subscriber.

Now it is like this, however in the past we wouldn't see something for months. Then get 20 chapters or some other arbitrary number

Well, itā€™s really good, but i only reached till chapter 36, but Iā€™ll leave it there, as the story(although entertaining) I kinda find it a little bit too childish? I mean, isnā€™t he a 40-something year old? At least mentally? But he still gets pulled over by others, but thatā€™s not really why i give 4 stars, and 4 is probably when I rate something pretty highly, but 5 stars is for a perfect novel, in my standards... Now, to my little issue, which is probably a little bit of spoiler...

Why does the dukeā€™s family treat Ryoma as if theyā€™ve been with him for years, like, at chapter 35, they started imposing conditions on his ā€œjourney?ā€, like they were his parents, and he didnā€™t even object, which makes me feel that itā€™s... like they were forced to love Ryoma like a son, even tho theyā€™ve only known him for like a month or so? But oh well, itā€™s good, but not for me to read for a long time, and I know everyone has different tastes, donā€™t let this stop you from reading it, cause it might get really good later on, but Iā€™m not patient enough...

Peace out āœŒļø

Well, although your Opinion is reasonable. They really pity him. And they are really good peeps in that world. Bro, Hang on a little , It'll get better.

I mean, I understand why they did that because, in their eyes, Ryoma is just a kid. They saw Ryoma status with a high-level physical and mental pain Resistance to get those you basically need to get tortured, so they pity him.

Not only does his 8 yo? Start of the book status basically require decades of social/emotional/physical abuse (obtained in prior life and commented on by the gods prior to rebirth) but keep in mind what an unfathomably capable and calm asset he presented himself as on day 1. 2 months later he's a business owner, paying taxes, guarding their defunct mine while milking it's last economic iron out of it, prevented a pandemic, and consistently acts grateful at all times. There is no way a decent adult interacting with this kid couldn't not like and and want to look after this kid or that a territory leader wouldn't invest in him.

I'd take him to area 51 and see which alien is hiding as an 8 year old. Kekw
