“No matter what you do, it’s all for naught.” (Avos)

Avos Dilhevia walked slowly.

She took one step, then another…

And on the third one, Lay perfectly anticipated the way she took a large leap forward, and vanished from the false Demon King’s sight.

The next moment, after sneaking behind Avos Dilhevia, Lay impaled her heart with Evansmana without pause.

“Sword of Three Races, First Secret:―” (Lay)

His pure white blade slashed through her body.

“――<Heaven Splitter>!!” (Lay)

She slowly turned around and swung the Abolisher of Reason Venuzdonoa.

The blade she busted out sliced through the <Heaven Splitter>, as if to reverse its cause and effect.

At that same moment, Lay’s chest was sliced open, and an awful amount of blood gushed out.

He slumped to his knees, but managed to support himself with the Sword of Three Races.

“Did you think you could end this faster if you cut me first?” (Avos)

Avos Dilhevia smiled sadistically as she looked down at Lay at close range.

With him being unable to stop her, she went straight to Misa.

“Be sure to stay here and watch. Because your beloved girlfriend is going to disappear for good this time.” (Avos)

Avos Dilhevia walked at her own leisure.

Misa took a step back and braced herself.

I could see from her expression that she was ready to die.

“Farewell, my substitute.” (Avos)

She drew a magic circle in her own hand, and a jet-black sun emerged from there.

When she squeezed it out with the Abolisher of Reason, the <Hell Flame Annihilation Mortar Jio Graze> sun was ejected with unstoppable momentum.

The black fireball flared up, making an ominous sound.

If anyone took it head-on, the fire would be so intense not even their bones would remain. Misa would be reduced to ashes in an instant, and her source would be re-absorbed—

If she took it head-on, that is.

“Hmm. I see you’re finally getting serious, Avos Dilhevia.” (Anos)

The black flame was fired off.

What Avos Dilhevia caught sight of was me standing in front of Misa.

“However, you were a bit too late. The battle over there is already settled.” (Anos)

Upon hearing my words, the false Demon King slightly shifted her gaze.

The jewel Nosgalia had been sealed in by means of the Jewel Sword Eilarrow was on the ground.

Avos Dilhevia laughed hysterically at that.

“Fufu… Ahaha…! AHAHAHAHAHAHA! ‘Settled’? ‘Too late’? What sort of crazy nonsense is this? Did you think sealing away the Heavenly Father would put an end to everything?” (Avos)

She pointed Venuzdonoa at me and spoke.

“Unfortunately for you, I’m the king in this chess game. Anos Voldigoad, don’t you think it’s too soon for you to call it checkmate?” (Avos)

“I told you before. That sadly, I don’t know the rules of chess.” (Anos)

“Oh, is that so?” (Avos)

Avos Dilhevia slowly walked over to me.

“Venuzdonoa the Abolisher of Reason, the sword that destroys all logic. The greatest and most powerful demon sword that earned you the title of Demon KIng of Tyranny is now in my hands.” (Avos)

She spoke with a sadistic smile.

“I already told you at the beginning. I have robbed you of everything. Your name, your subordinates, your castle, and now, even the symbol of your power.” (Avos)

She stopped dead in her tracks, and held the Abolisher of Reason in low position.

“Did you think you could win against me, the Demon King of Tyranny, just as plain old Anos Voldigoad?” (Avos)

“For someone who has nothing but a stick in her hand, that’s an awful lot of confidence you have, Avos Dilhevia.” (Anos)

Avos Dilhevia responded with a relaxed smile.

“Oh? Right back at you. If you’re so confident, then show it with your power instead of your words.” (Avos)

She gave me a sharp glare with her Magic Eyes.

“I will finish you in a snap.” (Avos)

I leisurely walked towards her, and spoke in a light tone.

“Give it your best shot.” (Anos)

We both activated our Magic Eyes of Destruction and glared at each other.

There were literal sparks in our gazes.

Both of our magic powers were at their peak, and as a result of letting it burst, Delsgade was quaking.

Simply by staring each other down, the pillars of the Throne Room were blown away, and the ceiling collapsed.

A hole was torn in the wall, and a large chunk of the collapsed ceiling fell between me and her.

Blocking our vision.

At that moment, the Demon King and the false Demon King both took a step forward at the same time.

I intercepted the <Hell Flame Annihilation Mortar Jio Graze> she fired with a <Hell Flame Annihilation Mortar Jio Graze> of my own.

Large rubbles fell from the ceiling as the two jet-black suns canceled each other out, and I repelled the bolt of <Magic Black Thunder Emperor> she subsequently fired with <Four Worlds Wall Beno Ievun>.

Avos Dilhevia canceled the black lightning I reflected back at her with her Magic Eyes of Destruction, then she moved forward.

A magic circle floated around me, and summoned the chains of <Hell Flame Binding Chains Magic Formation Zola E Dypt> to try and bind my limbs, but I grabbed them with <All Creation Hand Ygg Neas> and tore them off.

We both walked leisurely, and came within arm reach of each other.

We both dyed our hands black using <Source Kill Vebdoz>, and thrusted our hands at each other.

When I grabbed Avos Dilhevia’s fingers, she was swinging Venuzdonoa at me.

I turned my Magic Eyes toward it and grabbed the blade as it was swung down at me.

Avos Dilhevia grinned, as if convinced of her victory.

“Did you think you could defend against it with your Magic Eyes of Destruction?” (Avos)

Magic power was gathered inside the Abolisher of Reason, whose blade destroyed all logic.

Neither the Magic Eyes of Destruction nor the <Four Worlds Wall Beno Ievun> spell, which might as well be as ineffective as paper in the face of Venuzdonoa, could protect you from it.

All you could do was die.

That was the one and only absolute logic engraved in this demon sword and its magic.

“…Gah…!? Argh… Aah…” (Avos)

A moan slipped from her mouth.

With this blackened hand of mine, I ran my <Source Kill Vebdoz> coated fingers through Avos Dilhevia’s source.

“………H…How…?” (Avos)

She squeezed out her voice with great pain.

“…How can…this be…?” (Avos)

Even while vomiting blood, it seemed she couldn’t help but wonder.

“I made sure that… Venuzdonoa… was in my hands… and under my control—” (Avos)

“Did you think you would stand a chance against me by gaining control over the Abolisher of Reason?” (Anos)

Avos Dilhevia stared into my Magic Eyes dyed in mauve.

Then she searched for the bottom of my abyss, looking deeper, and deeper—

“…Why…can’t I see it…? Where does your abyss end…? Even though I’m… the Demon King of Tyranny…” (Avos)

“And there you have your answer. At the end of the day, it’s nothing more than rumors and legends.” (Anos)

With my right hand of black destruction, I crushed her source.

And just like that, Avos Dilhevia lost her power.

“You’re a fake, Avos Dilhevia.” (Anos)
