I would appreciate it two things were answered for me. 1: What exactly makes the ending bad? Is it just rushed and weak, or is there something that sours it, like bad romance, character regression, etc? 2: If I’m reading the manhwa, should I just start from the beginning for the novel? If not, where should I pick it up from after reading chapter 112 or so of the manhwa? Edit: typo

No.1, the ending itself isnt bad, its not rushed much but it does struggle to tie up some ends and the after they won hajin gets the choice but it wouldnt be fun if i told you😅 No.2 start at ghost(5) and u will be basically where the manhwa is

The side stories are about all the alternate routes in love for our mc so if u like your romance get it there. (HIGHLY RECCOMEND I SWEAR THEIR CONFUSING AT FIRST BUT VERY VERY SATISFYING)

Even though I've read this novel 4 years ago and remember reading the chapters up to 50ish last year i say just read the novel. it is tempting to read the manhwa because it is actually well made. but it feels like it has skipped a lot of parts. especially some of the major scenerio felt quite short and rushed in the manhwa

is the ending that bad? I read a decent amount and I did like it but after hearing the story dips I'm rethinking about finishing it (I'd rather leave satisfied than end disappointed)

Personally, the ending felt completely unnecessary. It felt like the author wanted to punish the MC for no reason. For the plot, I guess….This author is known for writing endings that lean toward the displeasing side, btw. While I do hate the ending, I still think finishing the novel and reading the side stories is worth it. Just know that the ending is wack and didn’t need to happen.

Eh ngl kinda wished this had one romance path so there would be more romance. I mean it's nice that they had multiple romance paths but like... Since there are so many different people that they need to do different side stories it makes it feel like that each path isn't that romantic and just feels very bland. Like *ss class suicide Hunter has peak romance even tho it's a action focused ln. Y'all can tell me to just read a romance ln but I have tried and I can't get into it so I only read romance manga or manhwa. I tried reading blind Saint and the regressor but i couldn't read it cuz it was boring...

I feel like the problem starts when you introduce multiple potential female leads and then choose only one in the end. If this were a harem story, it would make sense, but since it isn’t, it creates a pick-and-choose dilemma that opens up multiple paths. As a result, readers end up choosing a favorite and rooting for them. That said, I still think the side stories are better than that wacky ending. I guess it just comes down to personal preference in the end.
