i’ve read all of the available chapters for authors pov and still enjoyed this one. you could probably enjoy this novel as well as others way more if you didn’t go into it comparing it to other good pieces of writing you’ve read. just enjoy whatever you’re reading for what it is :)

Oh, really? The beginning of author's pov is a complete ripoff of this novel, not only that, when we compare the two novels in terms of character depth, author's pov completely loses out. Ren is an interesting character, I will give him that, but holy shit Amanda, Melissa and all the other side characters are so goddamn shallow compared to how the cast of this novel are written. The ending of this novel massively brought the rating down, but author's pov has a long way to go before it compares to this.

It wouldn't rank one if it was as u said. Not that it matters since the author is a fan of TNE.

What? Just because it caters to most of the audiences doesn't mean that It's a good book. Author's pov is a fun read, but that's where it ends. It's not something new, and It's not particularly well written when it comes to characters. There are some plot-holes here and there, but overall It's a good read, but IMO not on the level of The Novel's Extra. Not only that but him plagiarizing a whole arc seems pretty weird to me, speaks level of the author's writing experience and quality.

I think only the beginning is plagiarised, and the author himself said that during that time he was writing a fan fic of TNE. So, okay, understandable. However, after that the two become two completely different novels. There really aren’t any similarities. (Also, I saw how u said the power system is pov is boring, but like…did u seriously not read TNE’s power system?) Furthermore, if u want to talk about plot holes, TNE has endless amounts of them, and the only reason why TNE characters feel more alive is because of the endless and stupid amount of drama that kept getting dragged on and on and on. It was a soap opera. Regardless, I still like both, but I prefer POV simply because it has way more depth to the world. Especially when u learn about everything that happened in the past.

The plagiarizing does not end at the first arc because the characters themselves are plagiarized...Which makes it kind of awkward. You could argue that the author took inspiration from TNE's characters but the way these characters act, their personalities and their background are extremely similar. Kevin Voss - Kim Suho Jin Horton - Shin Jonghak Amanda Stern - Rachel Emma Roshfield - Chae Nayun Melissa Hall - Yoo Yeonha Donna Longbern - Yoo Seung-Ah Other than Ren I would say none of the characters are original. Author's Pov is a good novel, if you prefer drama I would say TNE's the better choice, if you're into fast paced action and suspense then you would definitely prefer Author's Pov. Although I stand by that TNE's author had an extremely good way of writing that dragged you in regardless of the plot. That is why I personally prefer it over author's pov.

Donna and Melissa are not the counterparts of the people u mentioned. Especially Melissa. Yoo yeonha is a typical tsundere, while Melissa is a fanatical researcher that has a sharp tongue and hates Ren. Complete opposite of her. Same with Donna, as she’s way different. U can argue Emma and Jin (but again, with his character development that’s null. ) Kevin and Kim? Mhh, not so sure. They are quite different. Maybe in the beginning, but right now they completely different people especially with Kevin’s relation ship with Ren and his cringe posfs. Amanda is closer to boss than to Rachel. And even then, she’s just ur typical kuudere u find in any novel.

I bet you're saying this after not even reading 100 chapters of The author's pov. Yes, i agree that initially the story might seem similar to TNE. But trust me, both the concepts of these two novels are completely different. The author's pov in not at all similar to TNE. And about the characters, i suggest you to keep reading The author's pov. There's a reason why it's in rank 1 spot. You might feel that some elements and stuffs are random while reading the author's pov but as you keep reading it, you will realise that the author did everything for a reason. There's no plothole in The author's pov. And well, TNE is also good in its own terms but if you compare TNE to PoV then, hands down PoV is better. I'm saying this because the read both the novels. TNE was my first read and after that i read PoV. And the protagonist of TNE is so passive. All he does is babysit the main characters. Left a bad taste in my mouth.

I said that the beginning is a ripoff not the whole novel, and I am currently on around chapter 460 of Author's Pov, I admit that it is a fun read, but the writing quality is just straight up inferior while the characters also feeling unalive in the way that they lack depth. I would even say that Ren as a character is a bit more interesting than Hajin, but in all other aspects, for example the power system is EXTREMELY boring. The plot seems forced at times, and sometimes I even wonder why the author bothered with adding in Melissa and Emma. Then again, this is just my opinion. The Author's pov still brought me tons of fun moments, I will keep on reading it and hopefully it will be an enjoyable ride to the end like it is just now. Stay hydrated and have a great day! ^_^

What happened to Rachel in side story did hajin and her end up being a couple?

Spoiler AlertThe World building is so trash that it is better off calling it garbage. You are forced to understand what is in the story and what is not. For example, the whole Chamaeleon squad is not inside the story at all and there were no prior warnings even though the timeline happened after everyone graduated from the academy. There are so many plot holes because you don't know what Hajin has and Hajin doesn't have. But the ending of the Rachel part is very sweet ;-; - Then idk how but Nayun got teleported or regressed to another world/ time traveled??? back to when she first got into Cube. And then that's where it was translated up to. Part 3/3

Spoiler Alert- Yes, Rachel and Hajin did end up as a couple. HOWEVER, it was in a different timeline that Nayun regressed. (The regression stone was dropped from the dungeon that was mentioned in the last main chapter, Nayun did not want to use it because of her grandfather but then the regression stone said there were no side effects) - I HIGHLY RECOMMEND RESETTING YOUR BRAIN FIRST BEFORE YOU READ THE SIDE STORIES BECAUSE IT IS CONFUSING. In that world, Lancelot basically almost took over the world as Hajin neglected him too much. Hajin is a billionaire businessman with a background as a private mercenary.Part 2/3

So they only translated the Rachel Part (like 60 chapters?) as of now and only 2 chapters of the Nayun Part. I was able to read it before the translation group dissolved to start something else. The chapters after chapter 378 is called TNE side stories. Although it is canon, it is not part of the main story at all. If you go to other sites, they only have chapters up to the 5th last chapter of the Rachel part so yeahhhh... Part 1/3 (My comment was too long)
