In the Empire, the wedding ceremony ends with a kiss after the vows were spoken at the temple as a seal of the marriage. So if you kiss and say your vows, you’ll be a couple.
“I haven’t shared an oath with anyone yet.”
“You’ve seen it all.”
“All I did was kiss you!”
“You will be good. You both will be a prospective husband and wife soon, ” said a paladin.
It was embarrassing for a paladin to pretend to be friendly.
But Rurutia needed to know, so she asked, “You mean you can accept me even though I’m not a paladin?”

Another paladin stumbled forward.
“Honestly, we’re no better than Count Hyde himself.”
The paladin, who held the Count locked in his hold, approached her and shook her hand. Rurutia became even more confused by the number of people speaking at the same time.
As they said, the paladins were no better than Count Hyde. But how would they compare to Father?

A low, majestic voice echoed through the tumultuous wedding ceremony, and the excited paladins stood still.
Everyone’s eyes turned to the paladin.
His body, standing beneath the gorgeous stained glass, poured forth with colorful light.
At one point, he had gained everyone’s attention and looked at Rurutia as he stood on the platform.
His eyes seemed to tremble. He sighed low and made an impression as he turned his gaze toward his subordinates.
