The President is Being Shameless Again
Chapter 84: He Had Needed Those Words From Her

Chapter 84: He Had Needed Those Words From Her

The two ignored each other as they waited in the car for 15 minutes. Then, a white LaCrosse came driving from the opposite side of the road. It parked sneakily at the side of the road. The driver looked out from that car. Was that Zuo Qiu?

Yan Beicheng was speechless.

Was he afraid that Cheng Ziming could not see him?

From afar, he saw Zuo Qiu took out his phone, and Yan Beicheng’s phone rang right away.

Yan Beicheng picked up the call without saying anything. He could not be bothered with a reply.

He heard Zuo Qiu say, “Master Yan, I’m here!”

Yan Beicheng’s mouth twitched. “I can see you. Do you see the BMW X1 behind me? That’s the car Cheng Ziming is driving.”

Zuo Qiu was very familiar with who Cheng Ziming was thanks to Yan Beicheng.

“I see it!” Zuo Qiu quickly replied.

“Good. Crash it. If you can destroy his car, I’ll buy you a new car. You can choose any model you want,” Yan Beicheng said casually.

Zuo Qiu hung up and gave his limbs a shake. He thought about how small his car was and how it would be quite impossible for him to destroy Cheng Ziming’s car with it, but it was still capable of creating some trouble for him.

He then turned on his signal light and turned into the opposite of the road. Cheng Ziming was still frowning. He had no idea what the two were doing inside the Grand Cherokee. Why did it stop there and no one was getting out of the car?

Could it be that man could not restrain himself and was unable to wait until they get home and do it at the roadside?

How could he do something like that in broad daylight?!

When did Lin Chu become so shameless? Was she willing to sacrifice everything for the sake of money and for the sake of revenge against him?

As he was thinking about it, his car suddenly shook violently as if someone had hit him from the back of the car.

Cheng Ziming was about to get down his car to take a look when the black Grand Cherokee in front of him swerved into the road.

Cheng Ziming hesitated. He could not allow the man who crashed into him to get away, so he looked out the window. He saw a man look out from the white LaCrosse’s window as well. He was waving at him cheekily. “I’m sorry, I’m sorry. I just got my driving license. I’m new at this. I wanted to park my car. I estimated the distance but still, I crashed into your car.”

Zuo Qiu got out of his car after that and passed his name card to Cheng Ziming in a sincere gesture. “I really apologize for this. This is my name card. My car has insurance. You can get your car fixed and count the fees on me.”

In addition to having a great attitude, this man had taken the initiative to pay for the damage. It would not be the greatest thing for Cheng Ziming to go off on him.

He took the name card and saw the designation on it. It was shocking to see the name card printed with the designation of ‘Assistant to Yan Hui’s CEO’. A look of admiration appeared in his eyes, and he quickly got off the car. He jammed the card tightly into his suit as if he was afraid Zuo Qiu would take the card back.

He shook Zuo Qiu’s hand up and down. He looked like he was so excited to have finally met his best friend but was trying so hard to maintain a neutral expression. “So, it’s Mr. Zuo.”

Zuo Qiu raised his eyebrows like it meant something. “Do you know me?”

Cheng Ziming took the opportunity to pass his name card to Zuo Qiu. “I’m the manager of Lin Mao’s sales department. Pleased to meet you, Mr. Zuo.”

Zuo Qiu did not mention anything about not knowing him and smiled politely. “Mr. Cheng, I remember. You are Miss Lin’s fiancé.”

Cheng Ziming did not mind that Zuo Qiu’s arrogant attitude right now was very different from how he had looked just now. He was extremely flattered that Zuo Qiu knew who he was. He wanted to leave a good impression on Zuo Qiu. If he could have the opportunity to work with Yan Hui, he would gain higher favor with Lin Zhenghe and solidify his status.

Zuo Qiu had no intention of giving him the chance to do so even after noticing his toady expression and behavior. It was full of intent to gain his favor and probably exploit their connection. He might bumble about a little in front of Yan Beicheng, but he was still quite charismatic when dealing with outsiders.

Before Cheng Ziming had the chance to say anything, he went on to say, “I apologize for crashing into your car today. This is the number of my insurance agent. You can contact him anytime.”

Zuo Qiu passed another name card to him.

“It’s okay, it’s okay. Since we know each other, this little dent is really nothing. It won’t cost much. We’re friends, and we don’t need to hurt each other’s feelings over this.” Cheng Ziming accepted the name card and acted as if he did not mind it at all. He kept the name card in his suit as well.

Zuo Qiu chuckled dryly and thought, ‘Who is your friend now?’

Nevertheless, since Cheng Ziming is giving it his all, he’s not going to stand on ceremony with him.

He nodded. “In that case, I’ll take my leave first. I still have something to attend to. We’ll talk another day.”

Cheng Ziming could tell he was just giving a perfunctory excuse but did not dare to stop him. He even smiled politely as he watched Zuo Qiu got into his car.

Zuo Qiu remembered Yan Beicheng’s words and clenched his teeth. He backed up his car and turned the steering wheel to get the car on the road. It was like he had not estimated the space and curve properly again. Cheng Ziming could only watch as Zuo Qiu’s LaCrosse slammed into the back of his BMW accompanied by a miserable screeching sound. A huge dent appeared at the back of this car. It was safe to say that the paint on the car was scratched into oblivion.

Zuo Qiu looked out the car window green-faced and apologetically. “I’m really sorry. So, so, sorry. I just got my license this week and I’ve yet to master driving properly.”

Cheng Ziming’s mouth twitched but could only laugh drily. “It’s really nothing. It’s okay. If you are willing, I’ll help you drive your car out?”

Zuo Qiu laughed embarrassedly. “I think I’d like to practice my driving properly.”

Cheng Ziming’s face went green. ‘Don’t practice your driving on my car too!’.

Unfortunately, Zuo Qiu did not seem to catch the grim expression on Cheng Ziming’s face. He did not even bother to back up his car but decided to squeeze past the back of the BMW X1 to get on the road, shoving his car viciously on the way out.

Cheng Ziming had no idea how Zuo Qiu drove, and there was a long, deep scratch at the side of the BMW X1. He saw Zuo Qiu drove off with a flat front on his LaCrosse. For some reason, he looked like he left happily.

Cheng Ziming lowered his head to look at his badly scratched car and wondered how much money the repairs would take. He had rejected Zuo Qiu beforehand and was now too embarrassed to mention contacting his insurance agent.

Cheng Ziming kicked his car door in a rage as bystanders looked on with stunned expressions.

He had loved this car like it was a piece of treasure when he had first got it. He could not bear to see it dirty or getting bump into anything. Yet today, it has been completely destroyed. It was in a despaired condition, and he could not help but think it was now time for someone to take this car apart.

Yan Beicheng parked his car under Lin Chu’s house without saying a word. Lin Chu got off the car with a cold expression and did not bother to say goodbye to him. She did not even ask him to drive safely, which really bothered Yan Beicheng. He knew he was temperamental this morning, but his mood had lightened tremendously after he had dealt with Cheng Ziming. However, he was feeling moody again now that Lin Chu was unhappy.

He frowned as he got down the car and locked it, following Lin Chu through the unit door. Lin Chu took a peek at him and saw him following her into the elevator. Lin Chu made a ‘hmph’ in her heart. He was angry this morning, right? Stop following her home then!

Lin Chu took out her keys to open the door after coming out of the elevator. Yan Beicheng lowered his eyes and saw that she had opened the door smoothly, much unlike the last few times when she was clumsy with it.

Lin Chu had just opened the door and prepared to shut the door in Yan Beicheng’s face when he forced himself in. He closed the door and pressed her against it.

Lin Chu was shaken to see his grim expression. He was breathing heavily as he pressed her against the door. He then leaned his body on her. His body felt really hot.

Lin Chu’s face went red. She felt like she was losing the upper hand, so she widened her eyes in an attempt to look enraged.

Yan Beicheng did not care for her expressions and brushed it off with a dismissive sound. She could glare all she wanted but she would never look as angry as she wanted to. “Why lose your temper with me all the way? Are you feeling hurt on behalf of Cheng Ziming because I bullied him?”

Lin Chu got angrier at Yan Beicheng’s words. Not only did he not repent, and here he was spouting accusations at her. “Stop bringing Cheng Ziming into this. You can hit him with your car until he turns into a cripple and it would still mean nothing to me. I haven’t even asked what was wrong with you this morning! You lost your temper just like that out of nowhere. You should at least let me know the reason you’re angry! What does it mean for you to just treat me with that fed up attitude of yours?! I never knew you had such a bad temper, I…”

Yan Beicheng kissed her before she could finish.

Lin Chu wanted to push him away but somehow could not. It was like his body was nailed solidly to where he was. His chest was like a wall, and it was burning hot.

Her mouth was filled with the taste of him, hot and piercingly cold at the same time. It reminded her of last night, and her body started to tremble. She was encompassed in his presence and her anger strangely disappeared.

Yan Beicheng slowly released her from his kiss. His long, strong arms were still encircling her. “I was wrong.”

Lin Chu was dumbstruck. She had never thought these three words could come out of Yan Beicheng’s mouth so easily.

She might not have known him long enough, but Lin Chu had always thought of Yan Beicheng as someone who would not apologize easily.

It could also be because he rarely made mistakes.

“I was thinking about something this morning and went overboard with it. I’m sorry. I’m not mad at you. I’m mad with myself.” Yan Beicheng exhaled and apologized nicely in a low voice.

Lin Chu watched as his dark, gentle eyes stared intently at her. they were filled to the brim with regret. She could no longer feel angry at him.

She did not know when, but she had already placed her hands around his neck. She suddenly pulled herself up to his neck, hanging off him. She raised her head and bit him in the neck

“Next time… next time you’re not allowed to be this way again! Even if you are angry at something, you need to tell me the reason. What kind of attitude is that for you to lose your temper for no reason?!” Lin Chu said grimly.

Yan Beicheng was initially happy to hear Lin Chu said that ‘even if Cheng Ziming was hit crippled by his car, it would still mean nothing to her’, now that he thought about her saying ‘losing your temper and did not bother to warn me’, he could not help but laugh.

How could you warn someone when you were in the middle of being angry?

It was like he knew her thoughts. He did not need her to say them out loud as he hugged her tightly. He explained in a small voice, “I’m sorry. It’s not that I don’t cherish you after I wooed you. I’m also not the kind who loses their temper and play emotional games with you. I might get angry if we have disagreements in the future, but I will never do anything to hurt you. I will also never lose my temper again for no reason. It was my fault today.”

Lin Chu was already stunned by his apology. She did not expect him to be so sincere about it to the point he went and explained himself. He had even given thought about the worries she did not voice out. How could she still be angry at him when he was so sensitive to her thoughts?

He carried her with no intention of putting her down. Her legs were not touching the ground at all as he brought her into her bedroom.

“Put me down, Moyan might be home,” Lin Chu said quietly.

However, Yan Beicheng refused to let go and said, “She seems to be someone really smart. Either she’ll make herself scarce or she’ll be hiding in the room.”

Lin Chu could not find a word in her to retort.

It would be more awkward for her to hide in the room!

This was the house she and Xu Moyan rented together. Even if it was him and it was really inconvenient for him to leave, she still had not gotten Xu Moyan’s agreement before letting him stay.

As she was thinking about this, she did not see Xu Moyan anywhere when they passed the living room and saw that Xu Moyan’s bedroom door was closed. By then, Yan Beicheng had already carried her into the room and had closed the door behind him.

He sat down directly on her bed and placed her on his knees.

“So, it would not matter if I crippled Cheng Ziming with my car?” Yan Beicheng asked with an eyebrow raised. He was still feeling happy about this matter.

“As long you don’t need to bear responsibility for it,” Lin Chu said frankly.

Obviously, it did not matter if he was dead or crippled but bearing the consequences for someone like him would not be worth it.

Yan Beicheng was overjoyed. He kissed Lin Chu lightly at the corner of her lips.

Lin Chu blushed and avoided his kisses with difficulty. She did not dare to look into that passion burning in his eyes.

“Tell me, what happened to you this morning? Why were you suddenly angry?” Lin Chu asked.

“I’ll tell you in the future,” Yan Beicheng replied.

She saw the warm and clear look in his eyes and knew that he was not hiding from the question nor was he trying to avoid it. So, Lin Chu did not continue her questioning.

Lin Chu was pretty tired from her time in the orphanage and in addition to waking up early this morning, it was safe to say that she was exhausted. She yawned in the arms of Yan Beicheng.

Yan Beicheng then let go of her in order for her to rest and left.

Lin Chu pulled on his hands drowsily and told him to be careful on the road. Yan Beicheng felt much better with her words. He had needed those words from her.

Lin Chu had left his car without saying a word just now when they were not talking to each other. It felt wrong for him to leave just like that.

Yan Beicheng kissed Lin Chu on her drowsy cheek. “Ask me to stay if you don’t want me to leave.”

“Stop playing around. I’m still staying with Moyan,” Lin Chu replied. It would not be right for a man to stay here.

Yan Beicheng did not say anything. He was thinking up a plan on how to convince Lin Chu to move into his house.

Her face was flushed red under his gaze. She did not push him away when he embraced her. Yan Beicheng could not help but hugged her tighter at her gentle, submissive demeanor.

He had really planned to leave but looking at her this way, he found his legs refusing to budge.

Lin Chu looked at the man who said repeatedly that he was going leave loitering on her bed until He had her pressed underneath him.

“What… What’re you doing? Not…. Not here!” Lin Chu stammered out of nervousness. Yan Beicheng could not help but laugh. His good-looking dark eyes were laughing at her as well.

“What are you thinking about? I’m just hugging you.”

Lin Chu did not believe him. “You said the same thing last night.”

“Last night. So, you still remember it?” With a faint smile on his face, Yan Beicheng caught her hand and placed in at the top of his pants.

Lin Chu felt her face burning so furiously she thought it was about to explode. She quickly pulled back her hand. This time, Yan Beicheng did not press on her hand. Instead, he continued holding on to her as he lightly kissed her face and lips again and again.

After a while, he buried his face into her neck and inhaled. His voice was hoarse when he said, “What if I don’t leave?

Lin Chu suddenly took the opportunity to push him away. “Go home, go home now! Quit playing around and be careful on the road later. Give me a call when you are home, or you could send me a text through WeChat or something.”

After a pause, she added in a solemn tone, “You’re not allowed to stay here. Moyan is around!”

Yan Beicheng lifted his head and looked at her. This was not the same brilliant, renowned Master Yan. He was now like a poor child who she had kicked out and prohibited him from going home. Poor thing.
