Chapter 61: Same Diagnosis, Same Prescription

Zou Yuanquan looked at the woman questioningly. Her pulse was extremely healthy and she was not sick. At most, her blood and qi were just a little stagnant.

“Miss Lin, can you remove your mask?” Chinese medicine relied on four methods of diagnosis, so Zou Yuanquan needed to see Lin Jiayu’s complexion properly before he could run further tests.

But, as soon as he finished talking, Lin Jiayu turned to him with her sharp gaze and growled, “Get out!”

Lin Guofeng’s expression immediately changed as he looked painfully at his daughter. He then smiled at Zou Yuanquan apologetically.

Zou Yuanquan was a little upset as he stood up and followed Lin Guofeng out of the room.

Inside the living room, Lin Guofeng said apologetically, “I’m so sorry, Dr. Zou, my daughter’s temper has gotten a little strange. She doesn’t like to face people, so…”

Zou Yuanquan waved his hand as he held back his displeasure. With a smile, he said, “It’s fine. You don’t need to worry about it. Young people are always a little moody when they’re ill.”

“May I ask if my daughter can be cured?” Lin Guofeng asked.

His attitude towards Zou Yuanquan quickly changed; he was no longer as warm and welcoming.

After thanking Zou Yuanquan unenthusiastically, he swiftly ordered his secretary, “Please show Dr. Zou out.”

What was happening? Things were going fine. Why did his attitude suddenly change? Was he simply getting rid of him after he was done?

Lin Guofeng did not sense the man’s displeasure, he simply turned to Assistant Zhang and asked, “Isn’t there another doctor? What time is she arriving?”

Assistant Zhang was dumbfounded: “…is there meant to be another doctor?”

If Mrs. Yu didn’t say that there was a thoughtful and caring doctor that could possibly help Jiayu and his wife didn’t convince Jiayu to go through another examination, he wouldn’t have taken this opportunity to invite Zou Yuanquan as well.

He originally thought that Zou Yuanquan would be able to cure Jiayu because he was so famous.

Who would have thought that his diagnosis was exactly the same as every other doctor, and his prescription was no different either?
