Chapter 49: Happily Welcoming You To Live With Me

Fang Zhihan slightly furrowed his brows and looked at Yu Gangan with disagreement, “That won’t do. Look at the stressed look on your face. People that don’t know us are going to think that I’m forcefully living in your home.”

Yu Gangan: “…”

This was the first time she had heard him say so much. He was certainly taking advantage of the situation.

If she hadn’t already used him as her husband, she would have found another man to deal with Yang Tianyou.

Yu Gangan squinted as her lips curved upwards slightly, “No way. I am happily welcoming you to live with me.”

Fang Zhihan raised his eyebrows slightly as he let out a gentle, “OK.”

Yu Gangan thought he was going to put up a front, but he accepted her offer easily.

Thus, Fang Zhihan began to officially live with her.

Although Yu Gangan agreed to it, it was still uncomfortable to have someone intrude her private space, so Yu Gangan had no appetite for dinner that night…

Soon, midnight came around. Yu Gangan was tired, but she couldn’t get to sleep because she was so hungry that her stomach was grumbling.

In the end, she got out of bed to find some food. Unfortunately, she discovered there was nothing she could eat immediately apart from ice cream in the freezer.

Since she didn’t want to turn on the stove to cook noodles, she decided to endure it. But, as soon as she closed the fridge door, her stomach began to grumble again.

Yu Gangan grabbed her stomach and bit her lip. In the end, she decided to settle for the ice cream. So, she took it out of the freezer and gave it a lick; it was so cold that it made her shiver.

“F*ck, it’s refreshing to eat ice cream at night,” Yu Gangan said as she turned around with the ice cream in her hand. But, to her surprise, there was a man standing right behind her. She immediately jumped in shock, “Ah!”, and the ice cream in her hand ended up on Fang Zhihan’s shirt.

The chocolate ice cream left a huge stain on the man’s beige-colored pajamas.

Fang Zhihan looked at the ice cream on his shirt and frowned, “What are you doing so late at night?”

“I was hungry so I came out to look for food. I’m sorry…” Yu Gangan said as she grabbed a tissue to wipe Fang Zhihan’s shirt. “I didn’t do this on purpose. Let me wipe it off for you.”

Yu Gangan began to scrub furiously at the bottom of Fang Zhihan’s shirt with the tissue.

“You don’t need to do that,” Fang Zhihan straightened his hip a little. At that moment, Yu Gangan’s hand touched something strange.

It felt slightly hard, yet it wasn’t completely hard. It was soft, but not completely soft. It even felt a little hot…

Both Yu Gangan and Fang Zhihan’s minds went blank in shock.

The room suddenly fell quiet, like a still lake.

Amidst the shock, Yu Gangan realized what she had touched. She immediately said in a panic, “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to touch your…”

The next second, Fang Zhihan grabbed onto Yu Gangan’s wrist, and with one smooth and cool movement, he turned her around and pinned her against the wall. He pursed his lips coldly and looked at her eyes with a deep and stressed gaze.

Yu Gangan opened her eyes wide and looked at the man in front of her. With the light shining behind him, he looked like a lion crouching in the darkness, staring down at its prey.

The way they were standing was too ambiguous; it felt like there was less than 2cm between their lips. At the same time, the scorching atmosphere was filled with a dangerous vibe as the man stared at her with a gaze that questioned whether she was seducing him.

Yu Gangan subconsciously tilted her head and Fang Zhihan’s gentle breaths immediately brushed against her neck. The hot puffs of air sent countless tingles down her spine…
