The Tale of the Void Emperor

This is bad, I mean really bad. The MC is annoying as all hell, the concept of "new and different Isekai" introduced by the author starts in a braindead manner with his death and reincarnation then continues with him going from poor to rich in a few lines thanks to his body's stupid death. And when an author writes two such cheap, easy and beyond lazy scenes it's hard to get sucked into the story. But it just got worse from that with MC going from weak and hopeless to f. ing OP in a couple chapters thanks to I don't even remember what other nonsense the author introduced. I mean this dude at some point was "creating" spells out of nowhere, absorbing energy passively, has unbeatable defense as well as other ridiculous advantages no one else can hope for. He gets in the school and becomes more powerful than the school top master in a couple of years, that's just dumb. The chars are even blander than the MC and one dimensional. The plot if you can even call it that gets chaotic quickly with stuff just happening at an incredible pace to maybe justify how OP the mc is or for more fan points. Anyway this is horrible

As someone before me mentioned, when the author says "this is not your typical Isekai story" then it's usually much worse. And I tend to agree, to the point it makes me think the 5* reviews are like those bots giving fake reviews on steam or other platforms, cuz they sound exactly like it and my experience in the first 200chapters was entirely different from what they got. Firstly , let's address this, cuz I've seen some complain about it. Does it have some writing errors or stuff in the beginning? Yes. Does it matter in the grand scheme of things? No. 1. Cuz it's readable anyway. And you're reading a web novel written by an amateur, not a masterpiece by who knows what legendary author is there, perhaps also, more often than not, translated from Chinese, Korean, japanese etc. Who aren't easy languages either. So I think some minor mistakes can be forgiven And, most importantly, 2. Ultimately, the novel is boring. It has no coherent storyline, stuff just happens, and mc profits from it. And, while this is a staple in all web novels, in here is dialed up to eleven. Everything happens just so damn fast, with no pause in between, and gives you no time to breathe. If in other wn it takes at least 100-200 chapters to get rid of the "tutorial" cultivation stage, here is done in what? 30? And the author himself is moking this tutorial stage saying "a pill is enough to get trough it" trough an A/N . Notes whose only realisation till now was to ruin the tiny immersion I had left for the story. And the problems are prevalent trough the story, up until I dropped it. It rapid fires stuff at you like a machine gun and in the end you become maimed to everything and becomes boring. When the author tries to make everything the mc does "epic", nothing seems epic anymore. It just becomes normal. Also, cheating? Seriously? Is that something epic to you? The mc being the only one who can cheat in a trial due to badly written plot armor? Perhaps if you're 7th grade or something. My point is, the novel is hot garbage, uninspired, written with kindergarten logic, way too fast paced and boring while the main characters are uninteresting, with no personality, and might as well be some graphs representing their growing power and it would make no difference. Rant's now over.

Author : "not your usual novel" Dear readers please see that if an author writes something along the lines of 'this is not the generic novel' just know that it will be much worse than generic novels. Plus the way he accepts women in his harem is just downright stupid and nonsense.

One of those novels that are just good. Yes, you boomers there are some typing errors. But it doesnt change the experience even a bit. Everybody should try this.

This is by far the most unique and intriguing cultivation novel I must have read The concept is unique and also story is not slow paced I can assure any new reader that this is going to be a big hit in the near future

I have read about 30 chapter and i have one question why mc is wired like this uhhhhhh w t f is his problem sometimes he is like help other (is he some kind of pervert guy that will help any girl with big boobs?) he is not thinking most time and he is just like some kind of fool is getting power full any way and w t h is this bro what’s the point of him in real , heh mc really make me disappointed

Translation is bad till like 50 or so chapters but it gets better and better. Anyway this ones really good. The story is nice and it kinda feels rushed but not at the same time. The power system isnt that hard to understand either.

It's ok I guess, the grammar really throws you off, the romance itself is way to forced and makes little sense. Main problem is still the grammar though.

Well, some says TTOTVE is not a good novel because of the grammar and writing technique but you know, it really depends on your taste like, it's passable and the author is making a way to make it unique in a sense. Just read the essense of the story not the appearance of the novel.
