The title is about "mother", so I came here looking for a story about heart-warming childcare and was utterly disappointed. The only reason her children are adorable is because it's a book. MC has very low EQ and is very dense. She never really tried to understand her traumatized after the divorce children, talk to them, and listen to them. No one really raise them, they just grow and learn by themselves. All their problems were skipped under the pretext of comedy (my son thinks I will abandon him again for a new man, look at his face, haha, so funny), whatever insecurities they had were magically healed by tasty food and all their upbringing is innate, not once MC taught them anything herself, same for their grandparents. She is overly scared of the plot of the book, so she tries to protect them from non-existent enemies (her main enemy is 7 years old) and totally ignores real problems. ML has the same level of EQ, so eventually, the novel just went into dense romance and entertainment circle/business plot with some kids existing somewhere in the background. Dropped when both MC and ML unreasonably ostracized innocent orphan boy, hungry for the family affection, just because "the book said he will be bad 10 years later" and blind love. It is just too much, I don't know what people claimed to be heart-warming here. As a chief, MC is good. As mother she is a total failure, same for ML

this was a surprise pick on my part. a pleasant one at that. it's such a feel good light novel that if I didn't have work to worry about I would’ve finished this in one sitting. the kids are so adorable and so are the adults. definitely recommend this if you're looking for a good read to pass time 💕

This is a great novel (◠‿◕). The main character is an amazing chef. Just reading through the foods she cooks makes me so hungry 🤤😋. She is such a great person to take on the role of a mother. The two kids are so cute and funny with their different personalities. The ex-husband. . . Nevermind about him. . . Not everyone is fit to create a family. Sometimes people would just focus on career and neglect their family. Sometimes people would focus on their family and tend to forget about themselves. Rarely would someone be able to balance it out. That is just the way of life. Overall, this is a great novel which focuses on childcare and pursuing your dreams. ( ꈍᴗꈍ)

The female lead is compassionate and the bonding moments she has with her kids are nice. However, too much of this is spent focused on the ML who stirs trouble and then takes advantage of that situation to draw FL closer to him. A better title would be "The Divorced Wife and the CEO" because motherhood and the kids becomes secondary to her relationship for much of this. I'm really not fond of how the ML is so persistent despite FL's attempts at distance and how her mother is so domineering in steering her relationships. But worse is that FL is a pushover who lets others tell her what to do constantly; this forces the romance every time she tries to put up a boundary. She sees that her son is constantly upset and she has no conversations about it with him. She cooks and stuff, but there are many parts where the actual emotional connection with the kids seems lacking; relationships aren't just automatically fixed with gourmet food. One persistently annoying feature is the treatment of her ex-husband's new wife who does nothing wrong but gets shafted professionally purely because ML likes FL and has control over the industry. At the point I'm dropping, their relationship comes at the expense of an innocent actress's career and the author seems to think there's nothing wrong with this. ML seems like a slimy insider who doesn't care who his actions affect while pursuing his goals. Beyond this, ML is an extremely neglectful father to his adopted son and that's just glazed over. ML has so many red flag features and so much screen time in a story that's ostensibly defined around her being a mother. I liked this from around ch. 30 to ch. 140, but then it starts being way too much about a romance that I don't find compelling at all because ML is so meh and FL seems forced into it by her mother and becomes totally spineless about the boundaries she herself tries to set up.

It is a very sweet story. I quite like how the Male lead was a dense idiot. . . It felt really refreshing to see how powerful the FLs backing was compered to the MLs. . All the characters are very reasonable. . . I really liked this story.

Was a really good read. Ending was clean. Had some good funny moments. Recommend if you are looking for some light hearted slice of life With some romance. Only thing I didn't like much was the mention of the ex alot but it was still tolerable.

A heart-warming story. With a touch of comedy, romance, and family story — It really built up a good story. Though the depths of story couldn't be compared with other story, it's still a good story. Love how the FL showed her care to both of her children though she knew she wasn't her real mother (since she's transmigrated to the novel). She's a decisive and open minded character. By showering the children with love and warmth, it's no wonder the (potential) villains-to-be became good children. Even the cold temperamental ML (in the original novel) was moved by her warmth. Kudos to FL's mother and stepfather for always supporting and loving the FL (eventhough she made mistakes and kept disappointing them in beginning of the story).

This is a feel good story, no over dramatic scenes between the protagonists and the antagonists, the build up of the story and the characters are also quite good especially with the main female lead, all in all it’s a good read and i recommend this if you just want to read a novel with short chapters.

A nice slice of life story for the first half and a very refreshing romance added in the second half that just makes you feel relaxed and soothed. Great story and no overboard drama, give it a read if you have time. The chapters aren’t too long, just enough for this type of story

Great story. Fluffy and light with details perfectly in place. Without the overbearing and OP ML/FL but relatable characters.
Family-oriented and charming.
