Summary

Earth Online – a virtual MMORPG that takes place in the future year of 2190 – a game that everyone will bet their futures on. Set in a map that is ten times the size of real-world Earth, players battle for supremacy in the first game to feature personal adventure, territory construction, and grand warfare. For every death you experience in the game, your level would drop back to zero. Ouyang Shuo, an above average player, suffered the ultimate betrayal. For merely a piece of equipment, his sworn brother betrayed and backstabbed him. This time, after he reincarnated in the game, Ouyang Shuo swore to exact vengeance.

However, in an unexpected turn of events, Ouyang Shuo found himself back five years before the betrayal – right before the launch of Earth Online. This time, armed with the knowledge from his past life, Ouyang Shuo would venture upon a new path.

How to perfectly complete quests? What historical battle maps would appear? How should one build up their territory? Utilizing the experience from the predecessors of his last life, Ouyang Shuo makes his bid for the top against all odds. Follow his journey as he seeks to lord over the world!

A different kind of tale that blends historical characters and virtual reality gaming, with heavy emphasis on kingdom building and warfare.

    It's very annoying to repeat chapters. 640 ~ 700

this is my first online novel. I was young and I discovered Chinese propaganda. Some opposing countries are nerfed but hey, it's not too serious unlike some.

the only novel I read that had the same kingdom building lore was "Release that witch", so I thought I would like this one, well, after reading 217 chapters I decided to drop it, I found the story quite boring and I don't know if it will improve over the course of the chapters. Anyway, it's not bad so give it a try

they should make a sequel! the only other novel that comes close to being as enjoyable as this is "the Lord's Empire" and honestly it sucked that they stopped translating that one. I finished reading this like a year and a half ago and I'm still trying to find something this decent. 5 stars man.

If RTW it's Release that Witch, in my opinion, they have nothing to do with each other. If anything, in the two novels the territory is developed but little else. This novel is VERY focused on recreating the past history of the Earth, especially the wars and especially China. If you are interested in this you will probably like it.

I skimmed the Chinese lore parts because they didn't contribute much to the main story, and they weren't much of my interest. It seems that with my comment I gave the impression that I thought it was bad, but not at all. It was just a comparison with RTW and some flaws I saw in the novel when I read it. Aside from those details, I thought the story was good and entertaining. But if you are curious you can read the first chapters, I would say that reading the first 100-200 chapters can give you an idea of the general style of the book.

honestly this was a great novel and I have read it through like 4 times now while waiting for other novels. I only have one regret and that is that it feels like the ending is kinda rushed. maybe the whole world dominion thing was getting to the point where it would be hard to keep everything straight so they decided to finish it? oh well the novel is great!

Well when you fight guns with only bamboo spears and swords thats what happened but hey.. now that imperial tiny island has reduced to become the US henchmen that cant even have their own military and china is one of the superpower countries

Greatest mistake was them inventing gunpowder but not using it to invent guns. Now it hits them in the back with small islands conquering them using guns from US.

The US had nothing do with with Japan conquering China. Us only came into the picture after Japan messed around and found out.

Did you read what I said? If Japan didn't get any gun know-how from the US that originated from their former European roots that used Chinese-invented gunpowder and a barrel to shoot bullets, it would have been impossible to invade China in the first place with their much smaller force than the Chinese.
