An hour later, Xia Lei received a phone call from Anjum Khan.

“She went into a bank and got in touch with a man,” said Anjum Khan.

“A man?” Xia Lei was curious. “What does he look like?”

“He’s in his fifties, balding and wears glasses. He seems like a professor or researcher. You know, people like that seem kind of neurotic.”

“Do you think so?” asked Xia Lei.

“Yeah, that's what it feels like, a little neurotic,” said Anjum Khan.

Xia Lei was more than curious. The answer raised his suspicion. Could he be hearing voices like Ning Jing?

“They went into the VIP room. I can’t get in.”

“Stay outside then. Let me know when she comes out,” said Xia Lei.

Anjum Khan hung up the phone.

Ning Jing was probably going in to withdraw the ten million dollars. However, she was probably going to transfer it to another account. Ten million dollars was not a small amount. If she were to withdraw it in cash, it would have to be stored in crates.

“Which account would she transfer the money to?” Xia Lei was extremely concerned about his money. He was worried that the money would be missing just like that. He was also worried about Ning Jing. It was a long waiting process.

Xia Lei went back to pondering about integrating AI into his company. However, he couldn’t stay focused with Ning Jing in his mind. The pictures she had painted, and the words she had spoken. He couldn’t focus on the research plan in this state. But that gave him an idea.

“I can’t do everything myself. The Thunder Horse Organization is developing. The staff grow in numbers as the demand rises. If I insist on handling everything alone, I’ll die before I can finish all the tasks. It’s time to hunt for talents from the market.” The idea was growing in his mind. Shortly after, he asked Qing Caiyue to enter his room.

“Director Xia, is there anything I can do for you?” She put on her charming smile while asking.

Xia Lei picked up the phone.

“Boss, I’m at the entrance of a biotech company. She went into the building with the old man a while ago,” said Anjum Khan.

“A biotech company?” Xia Lei was surprised.

“Yea it caught me off guard as well. The is a biotech company named Might Biotechnology Corporation, it seems large.”

“Can you get in?”

“There are guards at the door. There must be a lot of surveillance cameras inside the building. I need some time and professional helper,” said Anjum Khan.

Xia Lei’s brow furrowed. Anjum Khan was the sharpshooter of the Chinese Zodiac Battle Team but he didn’t have the hacking skills to hack into their surveillance system easily like Amanda. It would be difficult for Anjum Khan to sneak into the building without getting noticed by the people in there.

“For the time being, please ask some of your men to monitor every exit of the company. I’ll come right away,” said Xia Lei.

“You want to come over?” Anjum Khan was shocked. “But it’s dangerous, you’re not like her.”

No one would do anything to Ning Jing. However, Xia Lei was different. if he landed on India, he might face pressure from the CIA, the Hattori family, the FA Organization, and the Knights Hospitaller. Each one of these rivals was stronger than the other, and neither of them was easy to deal with.

Ning Jing had never gone to India. She wouldn’t have known anyone from there. However, the first person she met in India was a man she had never seen or even known, what was going on?

Xia Lei’s mind was flooded with questions. Suddenly, something popped into his mind when he was contemplating the last question. He walked to his desk and opened his computer. Then, he entered ‘India Might Biotech’ into the search box of Baidu's search engine.

The page was flooded with information regarding the company.

It was a biological research and biopharmaceutical company. This company also produced medical instruments. It had a large share in the biopharmaceutical market of India. Their assets were about fifty billion Indian rupees, which was equivalent to five billion Chinese dollars. Although it wasn’t as valuable as the Thunder Horse Organization, it was still a large company. A five billion-dollar company would be considered large in India.

The company produced a wide range of drugs used by doctors and general practitioners.

The building of the company showed up in Baidu’s search results. It was a thirty-storey modern building.

Xia Lei was attracted by one of the titles from the page.

The CEO of the Might Biotech was an old man known as Nahar, a biotechnologist. He had published papers regarding theology and biotechnology during his early years. However, the content of the papers was too bizarre. It was a joke in the science industry back then. After that, he had a string of success and became one of the richest people in India. It was rumoured that he used this money to buy humans for experimentation. He was investigated but nothing was found.

There was a photo in this content, in which the photo was showing a bald old man. He had a weird-looking eye, which looked kind of neurotic. A name was shown under the picture. Nahar.

Xia Lei was stunned. Wasn’t this the old man Anjum Khan was talking about?
