Trash of the Count's Family (백작가의 망나니가 되었다) is a Korean isekai webnovel series written by Yoo Ryeo Han (유려한) in the Action, Comedy, and Fantasy genres. The novel is still ongoing though it is currently on-hiatus due to the author's family circumstances. There are currently 7 volumes, some chapters have been translated into English and translations of other chapters are in progress.

Synopsis

Beginning with the awakening of our main character, Kim Rok Soo, in a different world, he finds himself possessing the body of a minor villain inside of the novel [The Birth of a Hero]: Cale Henituse. As he tried to avoid being beaten up as in the original novel, his actions directly lead to the original plot derailing and he finds himself dragged into the center of many conflicts happening in the world.

Summary

I can't be a trash forever...

When I opened my eyes, I was inside a novel.

[The Birth of a Hero].

[The Birth of a Hero] was a novel focused on the adventures of the main character, Choi Han, a high school boy who was transported to a different dimension from Earth, along with the birth of the numerous heroes of the continent.

I became a part of that novel as the trash count (tcf), the family that oversaw the territory where the first village that Choi Han visits is located.

The problem is that Choi Han becomes twisted after that village, and everyone in it, are destroyed by assassins.

The bigger problem is the fact that this stupid trash who I’ve become doesn’t know about what happened in the village and messes with Choi Han, only to get beaten to a pulp.

“…This is going to be a problem.”

I feel like something serious has happened to me.

But it was worth trying to make this my new life.

This is quiet possibly the most cringe R13 level novel I’ve read in a while, from adopting every single stray or not even stray characters every single arc, to deploying 10 year old kids against full blown “villains” and somehow they’re the strongest in the whole country, to the barely killing my sworn enemies, to recruiting said enemies, and once again deploying literal children to fight and somehow 17/18 year olds deciding the fate of multiple continents by running around playing catch. This is just ridiculous to me, fair enough if you’re looking for a wholesome vanilla novel but honestly not for anyone who wants a good exciting novel. Dropping this at chapter 134, good luck.

Unfortunately there's no 18-17 yo deciding any fate, why do you say that ? MC is in his mid 30s, OGMC is 90+ yo, other main characters aside from the averaging 9yo children are more than mid twenties, even in earth those strong leading are full grown adults, it is cringe sometimes but it's almost gone later (I mean which novel isn't cringe ?), Making the children work is of course questionable but the dude ain't completely a good guy just like he's not an *ssh*l*, the tasks given are not dangerous in "their" standard, it is much worse in other novels, and most things didn't even start happening where you dropped, but gess can't force you to keep reading

I stopped after chapter 776 so reading the side stories are important or from which chapter does the main chapters start after 776?

Reading side stories isn't that important but they are stuff the author wanted to include in the main story but couldn't. All in all, you should read them. Part two starts from pt-1

It should be in top 10, I mean look at tbate it updates once per week. And this give Atleast 5-6 chapters once in 12-14 days. Which has more trashy update?

Well , i do enjoy the way it updates tbh , you see I'm someone with no patience to stack chapters (^_^;) so its like they understand that and stack it in my place ╮(─▽─)╭ I'm actually somehow grateful 😅

The author actually updates like 3 chapters a week but it's just the translation that slows it down

I have a question I've read the manhwa so is it fine to read from where I left of in the manhwa n where is that in novel. Or should I start from chapter 1(is there a lot of un mentioned info in manhwa?).

Aye did u already start reading. Anyways, i suggest you start novel ch1 bcs manhwa leaves some stuff and also paints quite a different picture of Cale compared to the novel. Ex, in the novel Cale is mostly stoic and expressionless, and monologues or stuff has been given more insight into them. In manhwa Cale smiles a lot...and ofc details and monologues are left out

Idk but if u want to start where the manhwa end's i suggest start from ch64 or something. 😄

This novel is absolutely great. The world built, the characters and the plot are written so well and it fully capture you in the reading. I really can't express how much this novel is amazing. Sadly I noticed iin the comments that many are looking for a romance trope, well huys if you're searching for romance this is not the novel for you. This novel is beautiful even without a love interest, and maybe you should really read it instead of jst waiting for a fiancè.

Yes yes true! I think that's why I reaaaally really love this novel. It's because there's roma~nce! I might reread this for the 3rd time tho. Fufu

I will read this again if there's a sign/wife mentioned. Its slightly boresome if there's no romantic sweetness wafting around the area. If its just the mc it would be stanky af.

Does the mc get stronger, or develop any abilities, or does he just remain weak and order others around, im 20 chaps in and getting bored

Cale ends up becoming kinda OP after getting all of the ancient powers. And it's slow at the start but trust me this is peak fiction.

MC does get OP but his main expertise lie in scheming, planning, commanding and stepping up only when the situation is dire or stuff only he can do. This novel is more about plotting, politics and scamming than bull dozing your way through the enemies. Tho that happens too

Does he gain them soon, if he gets them around ch100 then ig i can continue

He gets a few before chp 100, and the plot progresses pretty well at that stage too, but the part that really gets exciting is when the war starts like a little before chapter 200, and then it just never stops being really good after that.

Yesyes. And the story flows beautifully starting from there. You'll just realise later that, oh I'm at chapter 700 now, craving for more~
