Summary
High school student Misumi Makoto is called into a fantasy world by the god Tsukuyomi, in order to be a hero. However, the Goddess ruling the world isn’t as thrilled to have him there, and kicks him to the edge of the world. Tsukuyomi declares that Makoto is free to find his own way after Makoto is abandoned by the other Goddess.

One of the FINEST isekai shit that I read in a long while, if you have never
This before then I recommend you to start now.
(If you read the chapter 59 of the manga, it is 78-79 in light novel but it’s a bit different than the manga)
This is a really good story. I came here to read it after looking at the manga. The MC is insufferable though, he's the type to have a 10 minute inner monologue during a fight and say absolutely nothing to resolve any misunderstanding. Just stands there mumbling and staring, when if he just says 2 words, he'd avoid a mess of trouble. Basically your typical Japanese 'I just want to be left alone' isekai MC.
I'm 100 chapters in and, my god, I pray this gets an editor. The translation is so garbled in some places that it drives you insane. 'Let me use 40 words to express what can be said in 3'. There's also the use of 'desu wa' and other romaji at the end of spoken sentences of the MC's two companions that's irritating.
In spite of all my complaints, there is a good story here with good characters. I've read that the MC does improve somewhat as the story progresses, so I'm sticking with it till the end.
