I love the plot so much. It's so wholesome and it's nice to see how determines the fl is. I hope they soon realize how shes being through so much at the hands of her father.
Hopefully she develops her self confidence and accept the fact that someone will love her unconditionally. I also hope that the soldiers will recognize their lady soon as who she is and not as the daughter of that — ;D
I understand some frustration from the misunderstandings from the main characters, but you miss seeing their perspectives. Lovable characters and realistic pacing for character development. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for romance that blooms as both characters learn about each other and gradually change for the better.
Honestly? I want that Duke Croix to end for all the things he had done to Max. For now, I will wrap myself in happiness for this couple’s sweetness 😂
nice story... but dont read this story plot "IF" you get easily bored to FL that doesnt grow trought out the whole story. her only improvement till ch.118 is her social communication skill(by a bit🤣). but the PLOT is really awesome its the FL im worried about. 4star for this..
Beautiful story. I like how Max continues to immerse herself into different things, one of which is magic, and persist in doing what's right despite her fears and insecurities. Looking forward to seeing more growth in the relationship between her and Riftan.
This novel can make you feel so many emotions at the same time, the main characters are what makes this story unfold. This is so well written and translated that there is notting to complain about. Highly recommended!!

I love how the female lead progresses naturally from being so abused and unsure to this more confident person. And the love she feels is also developed slowly instead of being forced like it is in so many novels. Definitely a worth while read

This novel is great. I'm waiting to find out how Riftan came to marry Max as it seems that he didn't become famous until years after their marriage. I'm thoroughly enjoying reading about Max's personal growth.
I do have to say I'm disappointed in the latest translations (CH 115 + 116), not only does the translation seem to be very shallow compared to previous chapters, the translator feels it necessary to censor "underwear" and similar words. This isn't something that happened in previous chapters. It ruins the experience of reading the novel and makes me wonder why the current translator chose to work on a smut novel since they're clearly uncomfortable with the subject.
TLDR: Overall a very engaging story. The quality of the latest chapters is lacking. This is a smut novel, word censorship detracts from the quality of the novel.

Essa novel é meio polêmica porque a autora sempre frustra os leitores colocando desentendimentos após desentendimentos entre o casal, mas sinceramente vale à pena perseverar e conhecer a história! O ML é extremamente carinhoso, atencioso e super hot. A FL é extremamente insegura e traumatizada, mas aos poucos ela vai ganhando confiança. Queria que só o começo tivesse sido cruel com a protagonista, que depois tivesse só felicidade entre o casal.... mas pelo visto ainda tem muito chão para sofrermos juntos, então.... aguenta coração!

Although, I love these type of stories...I usually end up getting so frustrated, irked, and annoyed by the protagonist in the story, usually, about the middle of the novel. For example, in 'Hell-bound With You', I was so annoyed with Abigail every time Alex would be in dangerous situations. I can tell this story is going to set it up in the same way...with her type of character. Same thought process is showing up in the story, when she thinks of Riftan getting into a tiny, little, dangerous situation....He is literally the strongest being on earth right now, who killed the strongest and most powerful thing on earth! I understand the feeling of not wanting a loved one hurt......that is not what I am talking about..... When she tries to stop him from getting involved in anything that has only the smallest bit of danger or problem, and when she starts insisting on going...like she is going to do something. She isn't a knight, and has no fighting skills, or strengths at that point. If she starts insisting on him not going, or her going, and rushing out when he fights something dangerous...I'm going to pull my hair out. Unless, she instead starts learning a skill that makes a difference, and helps...before then, I dont want to see her on the battlefield. What exactly is she going to do but cause problems. I want to see more from these type of characters, or at least the way those scenes are written. I usually end up loving ALL the other characters, and find the protagonist annoying a lot of the times, where I want to slap sense into their brains. Again, it's fine to worry...that is not where my frustration is.

guys... this is literally the best novel i've ever read in my entire life. i know it can be frustrating in the beginning, but you need to push through and keep reading cuz the story that unfolds is just amazing.
