If you merely skim this review, I'll tell you it's an okay story in terms of quality, but it's a lot of fun. Despite the fact that this is a story based on a MMORPG, the author did not consider how MMORPGs function as games and instead exploited game components to construct the story. Losing a level upon character death, for example, is utilized to generate stakes and repercussions for players ready to engage in dangerous behavior, which is exacerbated as higher levels get more grindy. You can understand how this might tension up combat when the odds are stacked against the heroes and death in a game is significant but not deadly. However, when regarded as a game mechanism, this mechanic is extremely harsh and unfriendly to players due to how simple it is to die in this game. When you die, you lose the level, the stats that came with it, any skills that unlock on that level, any competence with those talents, and maybe an equipment item you possessed that is now available to everyone. These are compelling reasons not to die for a plot character, but as a random player, this death penalty will deter a large number of players.

Very good novel. Can't wait to read the rest of the chapters once they're ready. The translations are also very good. Good grammar and everything.
