i just found out today that this novel have already a thousand chapters. although it is mtl, i just used chatgpt to make the grammar better and it works. it is better to read🤣
It's kinda losing it's novelty a bit. After the initial chapters, there is much less subverting of expectations which was what made the novels really interesting. There are definitely still humorous parts that hit though.
I found the beginning after his entry into the sect super boring, and especially the fact that everyone is weird ruins the story a bit in my opinion. Some jokes are extremely funny, but they remain rare (at least at the beginning). I didn't like it too much because it's just not my type of MC, I came for the comedy and I'm not going to say that I'm disappointed, but I'm not satisfied with it either. In short, it's not my taste but I can clearly understand why so many people like it. Good luck, and hoping that he doesn't fall into what he criticizes.
