Loved the concept and novel is really good as it's still in progress. Little underdeveloped for how many chapters it has, but hey its his first novel and it's an amazing start to his career. I was really sad when he went on his first hiatus and now I'm frustrated after catching back up and finding out he's on another one; but hey, life happens. (Side note: I hate when they replay the last few sentences, as the first couple of sentences of the next chapter.)
Maybe the flshback will be over in chapter 500 57 more chap to go
All this time i hated on this novel just to find out, this is authors first novel and all while him being really humble person, now i feel sh*t, especially since im pirating, imma just read it in webnovel app now, there's mc's and fmc's illustrations too
We’re focus on the future not the past author
I don’t usually mind flashbacks because it usually shows or gives more dimension to the characters whether it’s from the main or side characters. I’ve also read previous novels with long flashbacks but i didn’t mind it at all. That’s why i think the problem is how the author tells the story. The flashbacks right now is very taxing to read. This really shows how inexperienced the author is which is expected because this is his/ her first novel. I think this is the type of situation where a professional editor is needed because not only they could check the grammar, they could also help give pointers on how the story should flow. I just feel bad because this author has good ideas but they lack the talent of telling a story which i think could be improved by gaining experience, research and help from professional writers/ editors.
