There's one thing that this novel did well and that is the harem and character development. If you forget this is a cultivation novel and read only for the harem like me, then you might find it alright. There are many wives but they all get developed well, have their own little stuff going on and don't get abandoned. That's also true for non-wife character, they're someone who you feel like should exist in the world. But that's is as far as the pros of this novel goes: world building and character development. Everything else is bad. It gets even worse because the translation basically stops at a certain point, I don't remember when because I've read over 3k chapters of this... Anyway, it's almost like machine translation but a bit more curated. Names change often and you have to try and guess what is what, phrases sometimes are very confusing, etc... If you can not mind the bad translation and read this solely for the characters then you might find it alright and I do recommend
