    I know a lot of people may or may not agree with me on this, but regardless, I will say what I want to say… This is one of the greatest stories of all time. It has its drawbacks yes, but once you start enjoying it, g*dd*mn, boy… The MC is a freakin' chad (romantically a bit dense), playing schemes like no one else. Some of those overpowered moments gives you chills. And the ending, oh my lord, one of the best ever, in the history of forever,, if you truly get what it signifies. On a side note, the ending isn’t really an ending. It's a massive cliffhanger, almost like the end of a MEGA STORY ARC. So, keep that in mind before starting. But trust me, it’s one of the most powerful endings ever. You can disagree, and I understand not everyone will like it, but sorry, I genuinely loved it, and I loved it very very much so. ** I’m not interested in arguing with anyone. So don't bother...

    Theres quite a number of plot holes/coincidences in the first part of the novel so im gonna drop, but u can read till chap 40 to see if u like it

    The "smart MC" tag does not belong in this novel. The MC is a mo.ron and courts death over and over and is only saved time and time again due to plot armor. As an example, he is fairly weak Mage level 4 but yet goes to contend for the king's throne against people who are Mage level 9 and higher. And MC almost died multiple times but plot armor saved him, either through the prince getting back control over his body so the MC could kill him or the king sacrificing himself to get the MC closer to the dragon heart. BTW the king is MC's enemy but decides to sacrifice himself because he was humiliated by the vice sect master of a sect. Like seriously dude? It makes no sense. So it is a pretty stu.pid novel.

        What is it like? Is that book incomplete, still being updated, or is it finished? I left this novel in chapter 600 or thereabouts, and I'd really like to know if the story continues or is it abandoned, or at least the name of the second book

        New book is called rise of the godking, 177 chapters, dropped cause author had covid, said it'll continue 2022 but it's almost 2024 and no update so it's definitely dropped. Author also said he has writers block so ig he's tired, also talked about some really sensitive stuff so there's that too. You can find the whole speech If you search hard a bit, plus who thought putting a 1 hour comment limit was a good Idea

      Check out the second book first... If its complete then read... Cuz it'll be agonizing wait for sufficient chapters. Or you can go ahead and read. Cuz it's gooood.
