Summary

What happens when a scientist from a futuristic world reincarnates in a World of Magic and Knights? An awesome MC is what happens! A scientist’s goal is to explore the secrets of the universe, and this is exactly what Leylin sets out to do when he is reincarnated. Dark, cold and calculating, he makes use of all his resources as he sets off on his adventures to meet his goal. Face? Who needs that… Hmmm… that guy seems too powerful for me to take on now… I better keep a low profile for now. You want me to help you? Sure… but what benefit can I get out of it? Nothing? Bye. Hmmm… that guy looks like he might cause me problems in the future. Should I let him off for now and let him grow into someone that can threaten me….. Nahhh. *kill*-

Alternative: Leylin is transported from an advanced technological era into a medieval world— except there’s magic. Equipped with “only” his quick wits and an A.I. chip fused to his soul, he sets out to become the most powerful magus the world has ever known. In a land divided into the Light and Dark Magi, the weak can either be cattle or disposable slaves. Only the strong can determine their lives, and only they have the luxury for virtue. Yet strength is only a tool for Leylin, like any other. His goal, in the end, is his own.

An incredibly long story, which makes it have some slower moments and a few unresolved issues. Yet as a whole, it's a very satisfying read, with interesting world(s), multiple shakeups taking the reader out of his comfort zone and a great protagonist. 4,5/5, giving 5 as having an average of 3.9 is not giving it justice.

I'm just in love with the mc's personality maybe the side characters need some attention and the plot has some holes but overall i enjoyed it very much as a fantasy story. thank you <3.

Not worth reading. MC has no redeming traits. None of the side characters matter at all. Whenever MC encounters a problem, lo and behold he just so happens to have this particular potion/item perfectly suited to solve it (which has never been mentioned until then). This auther is a rank amateur. Don’t waste your time.

I read this story a long while ago and since then, among the various other novels I've read, I can say that this is one of the better novels out there.

While not perfect, it is at least satisfying to read.

I thoroughly enjoyed this story and think that the Author should be proud of what they did here. It definitely had some flaws along the way in the form of plot points left off and character relations that were never truly resolved but in terms of how many worlds, power systems, characters, schemes, etc that it contained, I feel that these flaws where more then acceptable. I was also very pleased with the main character throughout my read. He continues down his path towards his end goal while never truly deviating and instead using what he could not control to launch him closer to his end goal. Overall I give this a 4.5 out of 5 and definitely recommend giving it a shot for anyone who likes even one of its major genres/categories.

Beginning is awesome!
Middel part is good, but later on the story beins go into the "lazy writer mode" where even the author feels the constant need to keep trying to validate why, it's possible for the MC to act certain ways, even beating massively over classed opponents.

This was the first Web novel which I wanted to binge read through, and after a year later, now I'm re-reading the whole story again. I just could not recommend this enough to everyone. It is a masterpiece. The MC is witty, refreshing and logical. He will not rush into complete disaster to wait for a sudden plot armor to appear. Everything is planned out or is done by planning for worst case solutions too. The magic system is awesome too. Just read it

this is good... until around chapter 350 with the "childs of destiny" bullshit. Serioustly that ark is such of waste of time that i tought it was not the same author. That ark was so bad ( the conspiracy that no one care about but the author ) that i completly lost interest in this novel and im pissed because i loved the first 300 chapters of it. such a shame....

Incredibly executed story of dreamer scientist with 'end justifies the means' ideology which goes on a journey in fantasy world(s?). I liked how author didn't ended up in all the politics but it really is journey of seeking the core truth. There was not a single boring chapter for me.

Though i haven't even reached chapter 300, the story is incredibly interesting never with a period of time where the plot doesn't include something that will keep drawing you in. Also with an added bonus, the MC is actually intelligent. He never falls for random woman throwing themselves at him which is a refreshing breath of fresh air. In response to the review which talks about the fact it always uses exclamation marks. It is slightly irritating but not enough to take away from the interesting plot and intelligent MC. All in All, you should definitely try this out with the first few chapters.

A novel that takes you along as the MC goes on a journey of growth seeking the ultimate truth. In the pursuit of such a goal, is there anything that would stop you?

I just started it and enjoying it, I enjoy the concept of how magic and modern technology are sort of mixed, only writing review cause it deserves more than 2 stars.
