Lin Shiyu furrowed her pretty brows and said in a soft voice, “I don’t need you to accompany me. You can leave now.” His ferocious look had already disrupted the nurse in her work.

Fu Qinglun glanced down at Lin Shiyu. Her face was harshly pale and her stomach seemed to be in tremendous pain.

His handsome features were frosty and he instructed the nurse, “Continue.”

“Y-Yes...” Faced with such a dominant man, the nurse felt submissive. After finally locating the vein, the nurse inserted the thin needle.

Just then, she heard a deep voice saying, “You’d better insert it properly.”

The nurse had initially inserted the needle accurately, but upon being frightened by the man, her hand wavered and the needle was bent in another direction.

Now the needle was not inserted properly.

The nurse was at a loss for words. She... didn’t do it on, purpose! This man was too frightening!

Lin Shiyu groaned in pain.

At this moment, the man grasped her hand and pulled her into his broad and warm embrace. His deep eyes swept the nurse and his gaze was filled with murderous rage. “What’s the matter with YOU? Are you incompetent? You can’t even insert the needle properly. I knew there was something wrong with you!”

The nurse was speechless.

There was nothing wrong with her. She only had a problem when he was there.

Fu Qinglun looked down at Lin Shiyu’s hand. Her fair hand was red and there was a streak of blood, which made his heart ache. “Let’s go. Let’s go to another hospital. Their medical skills are lousy here!”

Furious, Fu Qinglun held her svelte waist with his strong arm and wanted to bring her away.

Lin Shiyu was speechless.

“Young Master Fu, please don’t create trouble over here. She had actually inserted the needle properly and you are still putting the blame on her when it’s actually your fault. Please, can you just leave?” Lin Shiyu touched her abdomen which was still in agonizing pain. She did not have the energy to entertain him.

Upon hearing the woman’s words, Fu Qinglun’s handsome features became frosty. She had actually blamed him?

How had he created trouble?

It was the nurse’s fault! She had caused Lin Shiyu pain! And when he saw her in pain, his heart ached.

Just then, the Chief Nurse rushed over. “Mr Fu, please accept my sincere apologies. Please take a seat first. I will insert the needle personally for Miss Lin.”

With that, the Chief Nurse patted her chest. “Mr Fu, please give us another chance! Please have faith in us!”

Fu Qinglun eyed the Chief Nurse coldly and gradually released the woman in his arms. He issued a threat. “If you can’t do it properly this time, your hospital can close down!”

After speaking, he stepped away and stuck both hands into his trousers pockets. He leaned indolently against the wall and stood there to wait for her.

Lin Shiyu sat down. The nurse inserted the thin and long needle precisely into her vein and drew her blood.

This Fu Qinglun had created a ruckus over here which had disrupted the hospital staff in their work.

The Chief Nurse smiled. “Miss Lin, you don’t have to apologize. I can see that Mr Fu cares a lot about you and can’t bear to see you get pricked. I think Mr Fu is very adorable.”

Mr Fu... very adorable?

Impossible! This man could actually be associated with the word “adorable”?

Lin Shiyu glanced sideways. The man was leaning against the wall quietly. His wispy fringe covered his deep eyes, and he exuded an aristocratic presence.

But he still seemed to be angry and did not glance in her direction at all. If he had seen that her blood had been drawn, he might kick up a fuss in the hospital again.

Lin Shiyu felt that he was being absurd!

They had to wait for the report after her blood was drawn. Half an hour later, the report reached Si Kong’s hands.

Fu Qinglun looked at Si Kong and knitted his brows. “She keeps complaining of a stomach ache. What’s the matter?”

Si Kong looked at the report and replied, “Did your fairy take contraceptive pills?”

Last night he had not used any precaution in the hotel room, and she had returned to take contraceptive pills?

Fu Qinglun stood by the bed. His long fingers caressed her delicate and pale face. He looked down at her and his eyes revealed heartache.

Lin Shiyu met his gaze. A few seconds later, she pushed him away.

But the man left first. He turned back after pouring a glass of water, and there was a pill in his hand. “Take your medicine.”

Lin Shiyu sat up in bed and received the glass and medicine. “What happened to me?”

“You’re allergic to the contraceptive pill.”

Lin Shiyu’s luscious lashes quivered. She swallowed the pill and got out of bed. “I’m going to see Little Lemon.”

She walked away.

But she had only walked a couple of steps when a large palm grasped her slender wrist. “Did you take the contraceptive pill?”

Lin Shiyu hurled his hand away forcefully. “You didn’t use a condom. What else could I do but take the pill?”

Fu Qinglun walked ahead and hugged her from behind. “Last night... I’m sorry. You don’t have to take pills in the future. I’ll go for a vasectomy.”
