The Ant King (왕) was an immensely powerful Magic Beast born from the Ant Queen on Jeju Island where an S-Rank Gate had opened. The Ant Queen, who was monitored 24 hours a day by a Japanese satellite, showed a massive decline in its magical energy. It was later learned that this was due to the Ant Queen birthing her strongest child, the Ant King, for the sole purpose of beating strong Hunters. The King was one of the few magic beasts capable of communicating with Sung Jin-Woo similar to Baruka of the Red Gate and Kargalgan. Through his ability, Gluttony, the Ant King was able to learn human languages including Korean after devouring powerful S-Rank hunters. It is one of the most powerful magic beasts introduced within the series, with no hunters present during the Jeju Island Raid being able to fight against it, excluding Sung Jin-Woo. The Ant King is the primary antagonist of the Jeju Island Arc. To view the entire article, click Ant King.

Summary

10 years ago, after “the Gate” that connected the real world with the monster world opened, some of the ordinary, everyday people received the power to hunt monsters within the Gate. They are known as “Hunters”. However, not all Hunters are powerful. My name is Sung Jin-Woo, an E-rank Hunter. I’m someone who has to risk his life in the lowliest of dungeons, the “World’s Weakest”. Having no skills whatsoever to display, I barely earned the required money by fighting in low-leveled dungeons… at least until I found a hidden dungeon with the hardest difficulty within the D-rank dungeons! In the end, as I was accepting death, I suddenly received a strange power, a quest log that only I could see, a secret to leveling up that only I know about! If I trained in accordance with my quests and hunted monsters, my level would rise. Changing from the weakest Hunter to the strongest S-rank Hunter!

Without that disgusting, filthy hypocrite Cha Hae-In, the webtoon would be perfect! But with that sh*tty, disgusting critter who only likes Jinwoo for his smell, she should die miserably! She ruined the whole webtoon for me! Then he should have chosen Lee Johee instead, because the B-healer was by his side from the beginning and liked him before he became strong! Hae-In only knows the “strong” and “new” Jinwoo and would never have interested her in his old self. If he had never had the abilities, she would never have been interested in him! SPOILER: Even when SJW returned to the past, the first thing this piece of trash thought when she saw Jinwoo again, how good he smells! Again, just his smell! Seriously, if Jinwoo had his old look, she would ignore him!

For those with any hesitation in reading this, it may not be the best novel but it is the novel / manhwa that got me and a whole lot of people into the WN & LN rabbit hole...

For all of those who live under a rock and don't know this novel and still need a push to read it, please go ahead and do it then jump to the manhwa version and lastly the anime version. Believe me you will not regret it! I wish the ranking was more representative to the value of this novel..

MOBILE APP.” 3 - click on the BIG button > “DOWNLOAD THE APK FILE” 4 - once you have won the "Incave.app" file click on it. 5 - it's over. the application is installed Edit: Why isn't the application available on the Apple Store and Play Store? Because it's a pirate site. Edit 2: Also, feel free to copy and post my comment in other comment sections so that as many people as possible can see it. The more people who support the website, the longer the website can exist."

No hate for the creator of this novel or the novel itself, but I wish this didn't exist. Many authors copy this work of literature to the grave. I can't help but feel if it didn't exist, it would force people to be more creative. This novel is as influential to Korean novels and Manwha as Dragonball was to Shonen. Definitively, it's a classic from the Korean specter of entertainment. 10/10

And there’s nothing wrong with it. I’m grateful that a lot of good novels came out of because of that. Thinking that one author “stagnated” a genre of literature is…. foolish? Solo leveling had a more positive impact than a negative one. 1. It introduced a lot of people to webnovels. 2. One of the first successful WN manhwa. 3. Literally the first WN to have an anime adaption. As most webnovels become light novels then go get adapted. 4. The first WN to have a game adaption. The list goes on and on and do I have to say more? Solo leveling did more to the webnovel community than most did. And I wish a hundred of solo leveling exists so the whole world knows of WN existence.
