this should have been book 2 so the story goes as a normal boy aka klein get beyonder powers thru someshit as mentioned in book 1 the modern times part and then he notices weird and paranormal things happening like people hanging , giving birth and stuff and the book has horror paranormal type sh*t genre and then slowly he gets introduced to/ tarot club members who r strong and protect him and are like mentors to him and guide him and being introduced to Mr fool their god and he thinks them as weirdos and stuff but later on he trusts them and thinks of them as comrades and then boom skibidi toilet sh*ts happens and we are almost at the end of the book and then he realises ( at the last when like everyone’s dying and sh*t and everyone’s having a group battle like in book 1 fools gambit ) he’s actually the fool and this was all a dream to trap him kind of like in 1stVol book 2and he boom changes form and like in book 1 and looks back at outer gods and then book 2 end then 3rd is vs og’s

After reading it three times, I finally understand. This is what you hope the story for Books 2 and 3 should be. Well, we all want that. But, it seems CF just wants to write something new ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

Friends, I remember now that in the first episodes of Lotm, Klein went to an oracle and had a prophecy made. In the prophecy, Klein was given a fool card. Is there a reason for this or is it a coincidence?🧐🧐🧐

    Reply
    • dislexyc_zahra 42

The reason was that back then he was being observed by the crazy half fool Antiganos because of the ritual the original Klein had performed. The observations only stopped after he entered the gray fog on the same day. This is from book one so no concealment is required😁

why were there hunter pathway monsters present in cordu?

    • intermittence 13

We still have no answer. Maybe it has to do with Lumian's hidden backstory, or it was an arrangement by Adam.

possible, this question had struck me back then but thought we will eventually get the answer but the reason still isn't clear

I think it was mentioned that, Lumian was already a beyonder before dream loop started. That's why those monsters with hunter characteristics appeared in his dream inside dream loop.

      • Broker 1

no, he became a hunter after the dream started he killed a hunter monster with an axe 🪓 then got the characteristic and with the help miss magician made a potion and drink it in his dream (which was actually reality)

Bruh, I think you didn't understand my comment. I think, I remember It was somewhere in vol2 or vol3 was mentioned(during Lumian's mental treatment and deciphering the dream symbolisms) that Lumian was already a beyonder without telling Aurore before whole cordu loop started. After the dream started the whole event of him becoming beyonder reappeared in little different manner as beyonder characteristics was detached from him as without vessel hunter characteristics appeared as monster(symbolism for lost of control).

      • Broker 1

ohh the symbolism related to warlock, now I remember that was there but I never thought it meant he was beyonder before the dream started, then it means Lumian have a Amnesia about his own past, lets see if his past will realy bring some developments in future or it being very mysterious and important is just a hoax... (interviewers should have asked more about Lumian tbh) but again he drank the potion after the dream started, right?

I never read the reviews now that I have I see so many people complaining how lotm is hard to understand, how the paragraphs are some times clunky. Do people not know that this is a translated work? Ofcourse it cannot be conveyed 1 to 1 if you were expecting tbate or ss level of english that's totally on you. Lotm for being a translated work and being such a complex novel at that, does a great job in the way it's written.

There refined and perfect translation available on different platforms as E-books, pdf. I read those refined versions, not here on website. Chps here are 3+years old and outdated.

Hey guys, there is this 2 star review by this "tolkien" guy on book1. He says the fandom is toxic and mass reports comments? but i certainly dont see any deletion of debates that occur here except when some cussing is involved?

I honestly feel lotm has the most chill fandom, at least on this site. they only get involved when someone else starts a war.

I’ve always wondered why Klein’s dreams attract demoness? We could say that he also attract Hunter, but not as much as demoness. First, I thought it might be because the dream needs the plague power to create something significant, like the great smog Backlund incident , to trigger something. But, what if the key factor is the mirror power instead of the plague power? If I remember correctly, the mirror can reveal one’s true self, like what happened with Franca before the Fourth Epoch Trier accident. Plus, the modern world is filled with mirrors. P.S. I’ve only read up to chapter 970, so let me know if this theory has already been debunked.

Lumian has theorized that the purpose of attracting Demonesses and even making Klein a Demoness is to create a mirror person like female Roselle and then control that mirror person to replace Klein.

Do we ever find out why the grey fog chose Audrey and Alger? Was it purely a coincidence? And if so a coincidence in lotm is not really a coincidence.

    Reply
    • FoolishReader_II 1

Bro, It was mentioned from the start that it was because Audrey, Alger and Catty have some antique items that made the connection Call to Safira Castle. Klein confirmed the connection call and connection was established. There might be many items in the world that can do that. Every seq2 Seer angel feels the presence of Safira Castle whe the advance so it's not coincidence that these kind of items exists. Even Chaos Sea has multiple entrances in the world. Not everything is "Coincidence", but just natural coincidence.

so the crystal ball that Derick had was also connected to the grey fog? so there's a mirror, glass bottle, crystal, and celestial globe that are connected to the gray fog. Wonder how they were connected and how these 4 in particular got those items.

Do you remember how people from the modern world enter the Sefirah Castle? They find some kind of object, like Klein with the luck enhancement ritual or Roselle with a plate. So, we can kinda conclude that these objects Derrick and others have are remnants left behind, things not picked up by modern people before CW died.

Bro, Alger, Audrey, Derrick and Catty were just lucky to have those items. Don't the forget the luckiest man in history, Will Auceptiun. And another thing, don't forget the another title of "Lord of the Mysteries" which is "Beacon of Destiny". People's fate just converge toward this beacon like moths get attracted to light or ships are guided in night on sea with lighthouses. They might be harmed or just sink in the ocean. This can also tell why in LoTM novel LoTM is center point. Coming into contact with LoTM can make u prosperous (like TC members, and Klein's friends) or ruin you like how Klein's enemy suffered because of him. P.S. : I wanted to write something more but I can't remember it after 10sec of thinking it.

Guys I need your opinion on something. Don’t get me wrong I believe this book is 10000/10 even better than the first lotm but didn’t Voisin Sanson seem so underwhelming? He was hyped up so much indirectly for example when Lumian become sequence 5 fate appropriator it said something along the lines of Lumian “has a higher chance into running into circle inhabitant Voisin Sanson”. Don’t get me wrong Circle inhabitant is such a f*ck*ng cool power but Voisin Sanson was meant to be the guy who scared Aurore to the point she ran away from trier yet he seemed like such a shallow chatchter . He was super smart but I didn’t get to see any of his depth or motivation.

It was all a part of adams plan, and amon who temporarily was a dual sequence true god helped lumian, so he stood no chance. We should gather our hopes that medici and his newly regained king of angel powers can contend with lumian considering that adam wants either one of them to become the next red priest.

Are you comparing him to Amon? He doesn't come close to even 0.000000001% of characters like Amon or Zaratul. And seriously powers of CoI is not that good. Seq9-8 basically doesn't make a big a difference. From seq7 they can make contracts with spirits but it has too much side effects that's a huge bummer, sequence 5 is just fate calibrater, it does wonder on people with simple fate but it basically fails against complicated fates. Power of seq4 is not that impressive, any other seq4 just needs to kill Voison 9 times and it's done. Just like how Lumian did, it was easy win against him. Only ascetics powers sounds and works impressively. And power to turn people into animal just doesn't sound logical at all. I find CoI pathway lacking and boring, feels just made to give some extra powers to MC. Only seq2 and seq1 are good.

First of all I’m not comparing him to Amon and second of all zaratul was not a good villain so idk why you’re hyping him up so much . Even.CF realised this According to the author. “I usually don’t like to give antagonists a flashback before writing them off… which causes the usually mysterious Zeratul not having enough [back] story, making him not fleshed out enough. This rather is regrettable.” Source - end of chapter 7 summary/look back. Second of all your calling inevitability pathway bad??? What are you smoking? Sequence 7 fate appropriator is the best sequence 7 in general if you pick you contacts correctly. Fate appropriator powers are crazy are insane at the demigod level(it’s said that’s when they are actually strong). Putting someone in a time loop and using gate appropriator. Not many demigods could beat that

      • FoolishReader_II 1

Bro u have to understood the information first before refuting me. Seq7 Fate appropriater? U r the one smoking here. Time loop? There's no such thing in LoTM. Sequence 1 Snake of Mercury, Seq4 Circle Inhabitant and etc all restore the fate to certain point using the authority of time-space. These powers are loop of fate, time is not tempered here. Time flowed naturally outside the cordu village. Those dead or corrupted people weren't restored in reality by power of CoI. Zaratul might be not the best antagonist but u have to recognise that he was major character that impacted Klein highly. He was the one who found utopia and launched attack which led to drastic decisions by Klein. CoI pathway has basically 0 combat capability, it's all about utility but it's too lacking. Remove all the boon of CoI from Lumian, it will just make his work little hard but not impossible. CoI pathway just gives some convenience.

at the end , he was a fraud too one explanation could be the corruption from his contracts making him less rational but again he was too a ascetic maybe there were other reasons I'm not remembering (cf mentions such things after the fights , should read those part again to remember) but I f*ck*ng enjoyed his death 😩🤌

      Reply
      • Hamyb 1

Yes read that part again! Tbh I might be being too critical cause his death was so amazing. It’s so hilarious a demigod starts to feel despair. And it’s also even more hilarious that he can get killed 9 times for revenge.

Now I remember, Adam did cued him somehow in the 4th epoch trier and Klein was misleading them through CW's revelation, one thing is certain that Voisin is fraud always taking fights in groups also he was trying to retreat during his last fight, so yeah, he was afraid and not fully in for a fight till death.
